I haven't seen that show yet. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there the last time I was in the park. I'll have to make a point to check it out the next time I'm there.

I would like to see WCB move Knott's back to Saturday, drop SFMM and do Universal on Sunday. The tours were the highlight for me!

I'm looking for the same ticket and at a bulkhead so you don't have someone reclining on you!

They don't have to be remote countries to have ghetto parks with ghetto rides. China has a few that come to mind and then there was Nara Dreamland in Japan.

I agree with Robb on this one. This poll can't be taken seriously. It is a popularity contest mostly. How can anyone truly vote on the best coaster when they haven't ridden coaster all around the world or for that matter all around the US. This is the major reason for me why Mitch's poll is so much better. It would be interest to have the break down of this poll by state and how many votes each state cast.

Ditto! Yesterday was the first time I have spent a whole day at Knott's, open to close plus ERT. Looking forward to next years bash already!

Nice start to the report. I like how you wondered around. Japan is such a fascinating country. There are so many interesting places to go. Did you get to the Imperial Palace? I found that interesting.

Getting a Winndseeker is not a plus in my opinion. The idea for them sounds great but in practice they are just not a good ride. The spin too fast to be a good observation platform and too slow to be thrilling. They should have invested there money in something else.

Seems to be the thing to do, connect a waterpark to a theme park.

That is what I would expect to pay but I'm going to hold off a few months before booking

I like the looks of the new sleds but it is too bad they are not like the ones for Space Mountain in Florida. At least with individual seats now the capacity is probably more and the loading should be faster.

Yeah, I would like to know too. When at KI for the New Hotness, would we get FL/FL+ included with tour price? Chill out guys. I have traveled every year with TPR since 2006 and you know how many coasters I have missed that were open? None!! They know what they are doing on these trips They always have a plan to be sure you get all the credits at a park.

Won't be long before they start going vertical. I hope I have time to check it out next month when I'm in Vegas then ride it when I'm back in May!

I think when planning a queue for the ride they plan for the worst case. After a ride has been open a while or turns out to not be popular a large portion of the queue sits empty. I have seen some huge empty queues and wonder if they have ever been full and who would wait that long to ride a coaster. I think TPR has spoiled me with ERT and front of line passes. I don't like to wait anymore!

A Mega Lite would be perfect--much of the punch of a hyper or giga, and it would work very well in the boardwalk section. I would go for a Mega Lite anywhere, not just at Knott's. But you're right, that would be a great addition to the park.

If the Weird Parks of Japan trip happens I will be sad. There is no way I can do both that and Scandi. You plan to many awesome trips each year!

Seeing the food I'm a little bummed I have no spare time during WCB to make a visit!
