I'm afraid of heights so you think it would be drop towers but it is not. Any rides on the top of the Stratosphere Tower scare me just thinking about them.
I think what Moose is referring to is what does your family like to do? Do they like theme parks? Do they like thrill rides? Do they like to sit around while you ride? Where are you coming from anyway? You really haven't provided enough information for anyone to make a recommendation.
14 days in Japan and only one day for a park?
Japan is real easy to get around and if you had a free day you could hit a lot more then Thunder Dolphin. I would go to Tobu Zoo and hit Kawasemi. Much better ride then Thunder Dolphin.
Kind of a bummer when the parks don't care enough to keep the special effects working. They should factor in the cost to maintain them when building the ride. Granted, sometimes they don't work out as planned but a lot of times they just don't have anyone to perform maintenance.
Sorry for your condition But you still do get access to the front, just not when ever you want. How do you normally visit the park? Do you wait until you feel good then enter the park, ride every thing you can while you feel ok then leave?
I like the concepts being presented. Seems like it will be a good fit for the park. Maybe it will finally make the park something you visit for 3/4 of a day.
