I few years ago when I was checking in at one of the Disney hotels I was asked if it was any special occasion. They were giving out buttons freely. I even had a guy in the park ask if I wanted any buttons because he had a number of them and he was a guest! I couldn't care less about those things but I imagine some kids would get a kick out of cast members wishing them a happy birthday every where.

Paper or plastic?

I'm from California and I would pick Central Florida. Besides the fact the parks are better in my opinion, It is the traffic and distance between the parks!. LA traffic sucks. In Orlando the transportation works and you are only minutes away from the parks. Makes for a better vacation.

Looks like a really nice place but for me it is on the wrong island. I have no desire to go back to Oahu.

Since it was an off year and having only visited one park I think the highlight of this year was Committing to the Scandi trip next year.

I put my hands up because it is fun! I think it is the loss of control, letting the coaster dictate how you move over the hills and turns. I think letting go enhances floater airtime too!

Before you get all upset, did you possible think it could be a safety issue? If the ride breaks down you could be stuck out on the track and it could be very difficult to evacuate you.

So Two Face ended up in Italy. I had a chance to ride it about a week before a train got stuck being pulled up the spike and it took several hours to evacuate the ride.

I assume Tranan was back in operation shortly after the incident?

I'm going to be in Vegas at the end of the week. I will have to see if I can make a little time to stop by and check this out.

Missed my chance to ride this when it was in California. Now maybe I will get another chance on a future TPR trip.

If they start out small they could make a go of it. If they try to do everything at once it will be a failure in my opinion. Do the flea market and amphitheater going to get revenue flowing in. Once you get that going they can work on the theme park and hotels.

Agreed, this is not unusual in construction. There is always a hold back on any construction project until everything is signed off. Probably a dispute about something and SeaWorld is waiting to get it resolved before paying. Once they pay the contractor completely they have no leverage to get a problem corrected.

They used to have one of those gorilla shows at Circus Circus in Vegas. You can see it in the James Bond movie Diamonds are Forever. That dates back to the early 70's.

I'm a little surprised that tickets were that cheap.

Eagle Fortress and the People Mover in Disneyland. At least I can still ride that one in the Magic Kingdom.

Nice to see another coaster down under. Now if they can get a few more to make another trip worth while.

I'm a little bummed that I had a chance to ride this back in 2005 and didn't.

Might try and get to SeaWorld sometime this Winter.
