PTC did do the winter maintenance for raven and legend this past winter, and the year before that voyages winter maintenance, if that has anything to do with it. Ive noticed that raven gets a little rougher each year, but thats just me. I personally havent even rode voyage so i cant comment on it, but whatever they are doing to it to cause the roughness, they need to do something different.

Like he said, if they had a launch system for a terrain coaster that would be great. I'd love that ont he raven with how its all through the forest and the lake but the supports probably wouldnt be able to take the forces from the increased speed. They've got the money to do the modifications for it and legend(another good terrain coaster) but i dont know if they should or not for legend since im going to ride it next month for the first time. -

that would be pretty awesome. But i guess they would have to redo the track thin so they dont fly off the track, maybe add a set of wheels underneath? id personally be fine with just magnetic braking and a traditional lift hill. Six flags needs to upgrade their wooden's to this because they love to get you goin as fast as possible then slam you into the brake run. Ummm, you do realize that virtually all wooden coasters have up-stops, right? I don't see any problem with a launched wooden coaster, but it does seem kind of silly. I mean, why bother with a launched woodie when you can have a launched steel coaster with inversions? We got into that discussion because the Gravity Groups new protype Timberliner trains for wooden coasters are able to be magnetically braked, and have the ability to be launched. Still i just feel safer with wheels under the rail if it was launched. -

it works tho. They ran them on Holiday worlds Raven. And still its a improvement on the ride. Also, why would they need to upgrade the brakes and ride system? These are designed to be placed on and work just like a regular coaster train. The Timberliners are different trains, which require new censors and magnetic brakes which are very expensive. Also, while the chasis with the stripped down bench is running, we don't know how well the train will ride and what effects it will have on the structure over time. Until they are tested for a couple years on a more tame coaster, I wouldn't want to see them on SOB Oh i read it wrong. I thought it said they didnt need any work, but still, what surprised me was, Who the hell has a launched wooden coaster. Maybe there needs to be some kind of federal law that requires a coaster after some odd years to have to be tested for roughness in addition to all the tests they put them through each year. Ive never ridden it, but i just saw where it said shock absorption and figured "hey that sounds great for SOB" It would be pretty cool though to have them. Holiday World even said they might consider buying some for Raven. If they do ill be fine with that, if they dont ill be fine lol. -
the changes have been amazing. Ive got some photos from trip there a few weeks ago. (had a 3 day trip) It shows the extensive work being done. Workers assembling the wiring track system, and more bunkers, Looks to me like these are going to be for some kind of lighting effects More of the terraced viewing area, and another bunker of some sort? Some kind of concrete bunker show room maybe? looks like they are building some sort of terraced viewing section. This is pretty much what half the park looks like. Hmm.. if cedar fair is willing to give SOB another shot, i think this could save it. Possibly. http://www.thegravitygroup.com/news_recent.html Too me this thing sounds amazing and a perfect fit for SOB. -
for me, it would be a 170 dollar copy of vbulletin for my own site, and 71 dollars for 1 year of unlimited bandwidth webhosting.

Lol i get pretty ticked off because i have to defend myself for being a pats fan even tho i live in the middle of KY surrounded by other teams like the colts and their mentally challenged fans that i have to call relatives -.- And then my cousin pokes fun at me for being a pats fan even tho hes a cowboys fan lol. Its a big habit lol. Just when i get into UK basketball its a whole new level almost.

Ok wait a second your probably a chiefs fan based on your location, didnt they only win 4 games? The patriots are about 10 times better then the chiefs. We beat you all without brady with a QB who hadnt started since HS. Thats 7 years. The whole season we lost alot of stars to injuries, and we still almost made the playoffs. It's hard to deny the fact that even without our stars we are still one of the dominant teams in the league. The colts jersey lol your kidding me right? Its 2 different colors with a horseshoe. Hardly anything has changed. The only thing it reminds me of, is Kentucky Wildcats (blue and white). To me you would think they was from KY since the colors are the colors of a College basketball program that we think is a religion, and then the horseshoe for horses, sounds like a KY team to me. It must have been hard picking a single good person to put on the pictures if you had to to pick Saturday

Cant use the same wood. Its one of the reasons SOB is so painful. It would just be better to use all new wood. -

Dont tell me u think rainbow was good? that was a terrible flat. It was always a pain to run since it had so many problems. Breakdance is better in my opinion. -
