Well since he went to SFMM they wont keep to his plan. SFMM saw how good he was and they offered him a job there and he of course took it. Already made big changes getting the Terminator ride. If he had stayed at SFKK we would have seen changes here too i bet. ^ Thanks Nitro. I am the site owner. Its really one of the best fansites you can find for a SF park in my opinion. Though I am lacking some pictures becuase i am using my own pictures for the ride pages and everything else so we arent fully finished. We are also lacking the chat room function, 2 skins for the road runner and roller skater and the last 4 years of the park history hasnt been added. But overall It's still a great site so come check us out.

1. Blizzard river is open from memorial day to labor day i believe but lines are long sometimes. 2. The flash pass is a ticket and you go to the exit of the rides and walk up. Well thats how i think its done. Ive never used it because lines arent ever long. 3. The show in the thrill park theater is The secrets of the lost temple which is a new movie for this year. It is in 3D. 4. If i was you id go to the road runner first as the line moves slowly, then greezed lightnin since its next door, then go to chang and then T2. from there follow the path of T2 towards the blizzard river and follow that under Thunder Run and do Thunder Run and then Roller skater last.

^ The ride has to be tested for 100 hours. so everytime it takes a lap like for example if it takes 2 minutes to run through the track and back to the station that 2 minutes is counted toward a hour of testing, then it goes again and then its got 4 minutes and etc. basically its the overall time it takes for it to get 100 hours of running time.

They never said that. They took the ride out and put a fence up that said closed for your future enjoyment or whatever that sign said. then the other side closed that had TT and MHF. Why would TT need a major rehab if it was built in 1997? the ride would be fine if it had stayed open or they at least took care of it in these 2 years its been closed. Codys pictures obviously show that they've let it just sit there. Wouldn't it make more sense to start a major rehab the year it closed or at least keep it in good shape until they were going to rehab it? Now if they even are going to rehab the ride they will have more to do on it since the condition its in.

Well TT is as good as gone. And You look at the park and tell me where they could fit a THBS. No where. TT has been closed for 2 years. The trains were shipped to SFSTL. Obviously adding in the THBS where the station area was and the plaza for it, it would fit perfectly. And when i said that about the money I meant the Six Flags chain. And how do you know they didnt feel the need to run both sides? The part about the 700 riders i exagerated a bit but it had low ridership over the last 2 seasons. Anyone could tell u that, that went there on a regular basis or worked there. And why do i need to change when i know what im talking about? ^^ I never said thats what they was adding if you actually read the thread you would see where this rumor comes in so thanks for not reading. And since you dont feel obligated to read here you go:

I know my facts. TT never got more then 700 rides a day in the 2 years leading up to its closure. the line was always walk on. And thats not facts its called logic. Ever heard of it? Hell in fact about half the time i rode i could stay on becuase no one was in my row. Maybe you need to learn your facts.

The park doesnt own enough space to place a THBS. The only way is with the removal of TT. Its been unofficially annouced already by removing the trains and sending them to SFSTL for refurbishment for use on Screamin Eagle. A few other reasons is 1. The park can sell the 2 coasters for scrap money that it desperately needs, and 2. It was only getting around 200-400 rides a day on average. Why would you keep a ride that takes up space, holds scrap value, and isnt popular anymore? Another reason is 1 side was always broke so that just makes even more sense. Plenty of rides along with a THBS could fit in the area it took up.

You went on a bad day. They are only having 4-6 concerts(I think once a month) this year. They have concerts but its generally like once or twice and then the rest is different events like wrestling. On the days when there is no event lines for everything are generally less then 20 minutes so thats why everything has a 1 train operation. Chang does have 2-3 trains so im not sure where they was.

Haha I keep hearing so much about Darien I guess ill have to bug my mom to us there next summer (got her to take us to CP last year and this year it was KI) SFKK is good but when you get a pass each year and go and they just do stuff like repainting and adding in maybe a new game etc. it gets boring.

She just said new rides that would be unique to SFKK only. nothing specific but it got my hopes up for the park enough to make me buy a pass again next year. But I do understand what you guys mean but knowing her for 6 years its pretty hard to not trust her. I'm just happy we should be getting new rides. I mean its the 25th anniversary of the park they gotta have something new to advertise it.

She is tho. You dont know her, I do. Shes been very reliable in the past. She told me about what was going on in the back section before anyone else knew. Only time will tell, but i still believe it. I mean its logical since 1. the parks 25th, 2. the park hasnt gotten much in the past 3-4 years thats not for the waterpark.

This has been confirmed to me by my friend whos a ride op, and she knows people in management. She wouldn't lie about something like this im pretty confident this is true. But believe what ya want. Another thing that adds to my belief in this is that she said not to tell people this, another thing she doesnt do.

At first it was to save money from operating 2 coasters each year then i guess it evolved into being removed for that sections renovation. The twins were hardly popular int he years leading up to the closure in 2007 though so it was a smart move management wise. The official statement is they found something wrong on the Twins that would cost a bundle to fix and that it would be cheaper to just remove them. I mean they werent that popular for the last few years and again the ride can be sold for scrap due to the steel supports. So its money the chain needs. Im excited for next season though.
