yea its small since they closed off 2 of the big rides but 1 is returning and 1 is being removed. But that section is being redone with new rides next season and the season after that both for anniversary's. next year for SFKK's 25th and the year after for SF's 50th. Glad you enjoyed the park.

The park isnt dead. And its not ruined. The park is getting multiple rides next season for the parks 25th anniversary along with new rides in 2011 for Six flags 50th anniversary. the new rides next season are going to be unique to SFKK only so i can only imagine what they are. A update on TT and MHF: MHF is staying. The chain was gone becuase it broke. And they still have plans to keep it. TT on the other hand is being removed and the trains are indeed being refurbished to be used on screamin eagle at SFSTL They do however plan on renovating that section so im guessing thats where the new rides will be unless they expand out beyone T2 into the land they own.

I guess you went yesterday? Thats when i went and how you described the lines for things was just about how it was yesterday. I thought about riding beast but the line was way out of its queue so we just went on since we didnt have much time. Glad you enjoyed KI, Your gonna love SFKK, except T2 probably but its still bearable. Oh yea and SFKK will be getting some love this off-season. Its the parks 25th anniversary and my friend that works there confirmed quite a few things to me. 1. the park will be getting some rides that are unique to SFKK for the 25th. 2. MHF is going to stay (the chain was gone because it snapped) 3. twisted twins is more then likely going to be gone this off-season if not this one, next off-season. And then we all know each park is getting something for the 50th anniversary for six flags in 2011. So things are really looking up for the park.

I just got back from going yesterday and it was packed. Today would be good because up in kings mills area its just barely raining and the parking lot was about half full. Yesterday it was packed. I's say probably thursday or friday.

I wont be waiting in that 3 hour line because i can go next summer and the year after that when the line isnt backed out of the queue. If i don't get to ride it this year it wont bother me I got the rest of my life to ride it. Though I do plan on riding DB tomorrow or Wednesday.

^ I never call the rides by their new names. Ive been so many times when it was Paramount so the new names just dont stick. If DB's line is that long when I go theres no way I'll be waiting in it. Hopefully theres barely a line on the others.

I doubt anything will happen major besides minor track work. The major stuff im looking forward to are most likely going to be done on the 25th anniversary. For the 25th I expect to see a new train, all new track and support work. If that dont solve the roughness it has then i dont know what will.

^ Same. Last i rode it in 2006 it was just a regular old shoulder restraint. I dont like complicated things and i hope this doesnt turn out to be the case. The OTSR was perfect for the ride and was simple to use. But the way you say they are, its basically like the restraints on the Reptar ride?

^ Oh well nevermind then lol. Last I knew they was settting up their trailers and offices to begin to break ground. I heard that off the weekly DLR update on mouseplanet.com which updates every week. I cant wait though, it all looks great.

^ Hmm.. I wonder how much they want for the thunder run and rainbow signs. That stock car is probably from greezed lightnin. They moved that race car back around TT in 2005-2006.

Well they made 2 ride systems, 2 of all the special effects, and 2 of the ride track for the little mermaid ride they are building at DCA, so i wouldnt be surprised if that 2nd set ends up in WDW. Also the rumors are that the current Dumbo ride will be moved.

With how extremely rough it is. It's either the track, which is playing a small role in the roughness since they barely replaced any in the past 3 years, or the trains. I'm willing to bet its the trains. It would be nice to see all new track though if they dont get new trains.

I'm actually getting used the PTC trains thunder uses. But something is going on with the ride and it needs to be fixed

Yes they're pizza is amazing. The cheese fries are great to. One thing I do have to say about the place is, if your soaked from Raging Rapids and its raining, and the place full, you might be best to avoid it because they will open the back up and its freezing cold back there.

Thanks. I was so mad at one thing with the park. Batteries cost 3 dollars for a pack of 2 batteries, 2 batteries. And because im a genius and bought rechargeable batteries i forgot to charge them so i had to buy batteries twice. So to solve this I bought myself a nice new Canon SD780 IS( has a battery pack) Glad you enjoyed the pictures. You'll definitely love Holiday World when you go, if you eat at the park do kringles kafe, thats where pat(the person on their advertisements) works when it starts to overflow with people and needs more workers, and its got amazing food. I think with my kings island TR ill resize my photos to less then 800x600 though.

^Exactly. They need one good ride in my opinion to keep people going to the park. I wouldn't call greezed lightnin a new major ride. The last real one to me was Chang and that was over 10 years ago.

Maybe, but i doubt it. In 1996 when one of the coasters(star chaser) had a accident they reported there was a serious mechanical failure that resulted in it and the park sued them. And when all that happened with the drop tower they always slanted it towards the girls side. Which is why I dont think they was paid off since they have had a long history of appearing to be against the park.
