Hey guys, I just got a new computer, but have NL on my other one. I can't seem to find the activation key (the one you type in to activate it) anywhere. My question is, is there a way to transport it to my new computer, with or without the product key? Also, I did manage to get the program on my computer, so all I need is the activation key if it can be used twice. In these tough times, it would really be nice to not have to buy it again just to have it on my new computer. thanks

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
kingsdominionlvr replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Cedar Point really likes messing with people. I doubt there is anything you can read into all these so called "hints". -
Just a quick thought about a Nascar coaster. Nascar, just a few years ago was the second biggest sport (in revenue) behind football and Their fans are Extremely loyal to anything Nascar endorses. I think a Nascar themed coaster will be a huge success, and skyrocket attendance from the more southern part of Virginia (considering they are mostly nascar loving rednecks!). Also, Cedar Fair could not theme a roller coaster if it depended on their life, Nascar can really help with that. Whatever theme it will be, I could care less, what I care about is height, speed, and adrenaline rush. Call me weird, but as long as this thing is a beast, it could be themed for spongebob for all I care.

What is your next park?
kingsdominionlvr replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Kings Dominion (obviously). I don't know when, probably sometime this week. Hopefully I can get my camera working to get some pictures of the construction. Oh yeah, also, my 100th post! -

The midways of theme parks, are basically a monopoly. They have no competitors for revenue, so they basically can take as much money as they want from you. It is sort of the same thing with movie theaters, who don't let you bring your own food. That is primarily why I just pack my lunch when I go to any theme park. Also, as I said, they let you take 1 or 2 water bottles in to the park, and also are LEGALLY required to provide you with free water if you ask, just go into a one of the restaurant and ask for a cup of water. -
Think about it, on the job page, wouldn't they specify that it takes 1 whole year of job training. That seems like a major detail to me, that they would not leave out. Why would it take a year of training? If you get hired you will be working on all the attractions in the park, 2 of which are already over 300 feet tall. They would be working on many rides, including the new ride. I think that posting tell us as much as the giga label did. Just adding more evidence towards how high it may be. If you noticed, that was exactly my point. Anyway, on some forum (I dont remember which one), someone said that there is a new permit titled "2010 Coaster+Station" on Hanover County's Site that estimates the completion date at December of 2010. For those of you who are a bit slow, if it was to be built and open for 2010, the completion date should have been estimated for December 2009 (they make it early to give construction some wiggle room, for weather, etc.) My personal opinion, maybe they are constructing a new section of the park around the Giga, and it will not be done until 2011 (more attractions, restrooms, food, etc.).

I just don't see how this happened. I hesitate to blame lifeguards, after all, they have a VERY tough job, and have to overlook hundreds of people. The park may need to hire more lifeguards, to help prevent this from happening again. I do have one question. Why in the world would the parents of this 3 YEAR OLD, leave him alone, or just not be watching him very closely. Besides drowning, the child could have been kidnapped! My thoughts, and prayers are with everyone involved.

Carowinds Discussion Thread

So, now that we know it is B&M, what kind will it be? My bet is on the obvious hyper, or maybe even a floorless, hey it worked for Kings Dominion! -
Talk about jumping to conclusions... The park can't help if a fatigued and aging ride is having issues breaking down regularly. The ride gets a fault light, mechanics get sent down to figure out whats wrong, and it opens as fast possible. It really is that simple. Its not like they're purposely not re-opening the ride to annoy people. Perhaps to keep the ride running more efficiently they would need to shut down for a week or more to make adjustments or replace parts. Then you would probably complain that the ride was closed for an extended period of time during its last season. As was said this is all part of the reason the ride is being removed in the first place. People going for the specific purpose to ride Big Bad Wolf for the last time (if you remember, that is why Busch made the announcement) deserve to at least be able to ride it once. If the ride is closed all day, and not getting as much attention as possible, there is a problem. That is my two cents, I guess I am just too demanding.

I don't want to turn this into an argument, but pretty much all amusement park food is expensive. Also, if you go two days in a row to Kings Dominion, you pay $50. Their ticket prices sort of make up for the money you spend on food. Finally, I suggested he pack a lunch to BOTH parks, I never said to eat at Kings Dominion. -

Have fun, glad I could help out with your trip! -
I still haven't forgiven KD for this. Even if they lost the rights to use Yogi Bear, they could have put in just a little bit more effort and come up with something more clever than "Treasure Cave." Can I also throw in Drop Zone, to Drop Tower. With that effort, they should have re-named Italian Job, Roller Coaster.

Sorry bout the little fight. Anyway, I believe a park can never have enough B&Ms, look at Busch Gardens Europe for example, they have 3 and may even get another one to replace Big Bad Wolf! Considering Knotts only has one, that from what I have heard is not the greatest, it would really help them out if they got another one. Specifics, a 170 foot tall, 7 inversion, B&M Floorless.
