  1. I believe CGA is up for sale (CF has only owned them for three years anyway) and Michigan's Adventure just got a coaster last year.
  2. I am in full support of Universal Healthcare for America, but at this point conservatives who get their funds and dinners from the insurance companies will not allow it. All I can really pray for, is that at least the public option gets passed. That is a good start.
  3. Props to Kennywood for all the major improvements they are doing. I am glad to see parks still improving in these tough times.
  4. I should be heading down either tomorrow or Saturday to get some pictures, and then again on the 20th for the big announcement.
  5. Maybe all of this is just exactly the same thing CP was doing with all the coaster manufacturer tweets. It is just all to throw us off, and we really will know nothing until the press release. Think about it, the puzzle will be unlocked piece by piece. First, KD (August 20), then Carowinds (August 26), then Cedar Point. This is all very puzzling (no pun intended).
  6. Can we see these images provided by Premier, or get a link to them?
  7. Eek, that does not look good. Hopefully, that is just a bad, rushed recreation Kennywood did to get it out to the press.
  8. The whytelightning thing has already been mentioned I believe, but that has more to do with Cedar Point and Carowinds then Kings Dominion.
  9. Yeah, B&Ms are much to expensive (their hypers, are almost as expensive as Millennium Force) to build a 300 foot lift hill coaster. Morgan pulled it off because their coasters are generally cheaper to build, then B&Ms.
  10. Generally, one lift counts as one block, one block brake counts as one block, and the station counts as a block. So where does one lift with 2 chains fit into that?... I doubt that would change anything.
  11. Generally, one lift counts as one block, one block brake counts as one block, and the station counts as a block.
  12. I was just guessing, what do you think they will do to cut down on lines with the total ride capacity so low.
  13. That is not what I said. I said they would not promote it as much as the usual new coaster, less commercials, etc.
  14. Maybe they plan to not promote it as much as they normally would. That way less people get in line for it, just a guess.
  15. I am going old school right now... Too Legit by the one and only MC Hammer!
  16. I don't care about wait times, as long as they get rid of that god awful restraint system used on the older Premier Launchers.
  17. While nothing has been confirmed, I think it is fair to say this is a hyper. Sorry, if I rubbed you the wrong way, I was just letting you know you should get spell check. Also, I have had to deal with my share of awful admins so I feel for ya, TPR has some of the best around, so my guess is you should have a much better time on this site.
  18. Newer Premier Launchers seem to be pretty compact, I would say that is plenty to work with for this type of coaster.
  19. The tour is a pretty good idea. I have not been to BGE this year, are they promoting it a lot? I think more parks should do this if they can make it profitable.
  20. I wouldn't call this major, but I do give Kennywood props for adding much of anything (especially a coaster) in this economy.
