  1. I just received $50 from some relatives of mine who wish to remain anonymous. Movin' on up!
  2. It would seem that Lagoon is trying their damndest to get Cannibal open ASAP. I just got an email from the park advertising the ride along with a spring ticket sale for March and April, telling the recipients to come "See Lagoon from a new perspective" with the Cannibal logo attached.
  3. Seems like it would be pretty loud in there.
  4. Please, please take Hollywood out of the name. That's the most confusing part. When you mention Disney and Hollywood to anyone while not on property they immediately think you're talking about the parks in LA.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, the end of March is the start of Spring Break season. You'll not only be fighting locals on the weekend, but vacationing families, too.
  6. If you were able to SEE the teeny tiny DL castle from anywhere aside from directly underneath it, I'd go along with what you're saying.
  7. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? Yep, they play automatically. 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? More often than not, yes. 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) All of the above. 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? Depends on the video, but I'll watch the whole thing most of the time. 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) Depends on the content. If it's something unknown to me and the thumbnail seems interesting I'm much more likely to check it out. 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? Ugh, where to start? Facebook is home to the dredges of humanity. It's a great way to keep in contact with friends and family but when it comes to public comments it gets horrible very fast. 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? Everything looks good to me! If anything there should be a way to punch people through the internet, so get on that.
  8. ^ I know, right?! Middle of nowhere, Utah, and there's a freakin' PEACOCK by a gas station! Here, let me put you in the right frame of mind... You've been awake since 9am the previous day. You finished an 8-hour shift doing lighting for a terrible cover band at one of the oldest hotels in Las Vegas. You've gone home, taken a quick shower, and jumped in the car around 2:30am and started driving. Around 7am you end up in a tiny town in Utah called Scipio. Being 7am you figure it's a good time to get some sleep before a day at Lagoon. You park your car and get out, eager to use the restroom. You turn the corner and BOOM, friggin' peacock. At first you laugh, thinking how ridiculous it is to see a peacock in this place. You look behind you, hoping that when you turn back around there won't be a peacock because, well, that would just be crazy. Then you turn and, sure enough, peacock. So your brain locks up a bit, trying to process this madness. Is this peacock real? Are you hallucinating from the lack of sleep and endless highway? Is The Matrix a historical documentary? So you take out your camera to document this momentous occasion. Surely when you look at the photograph later there will be no peacock. Cameras don't lie. So you take the photo and giggle to yourself. You shake your head, turn, and head to the restroom. Upon exit there is no more peacock. "I knew it!" you say to yourself. Just a bit of the madness creeping in, no big deal. You go back to the car, you sleep for a couple of hours. You wake up, you drive to Lagoon, you have a fantastic day, never once think of the random peacock. The next day you walk around SLC having a grand ol' time, you drive all the way back home with nary a worry. You decide that since you have a lot of free time you should go through all of your photos and post a TR to share your awesome times with other people. So you sit down in from of your computer, you slide your SD card in and... Boom. Peacock.
  9. Holy crap. I had no idea Springfield was going to look like that! Awesome!
  10. Damned fireworks trying to murder a classic. Glad to hear it was just a tree and not the actual attraction. While I'm not a big fan of Small World, I sure respect the hell out of it because of its history. I hope it survives forever.
  11. Everyone is calling these intense but I didn't feel that way at all. It was fun and quite disorienting, sure, but far from intense.
  12. My reaction seeing this thread alive -
  13. World of Color sucks. There. End of argument! I will fight you to the bitter end on this, but I really don't care enough about it, haha.
  14. Power Surges and Top Scans are probably my two favorite flat rides because of how balls-out insane they are.
  15. Just watched Volume 2. That tour guide is the real MVP. He jumped in and proved that girls don't poop.
  16. Mostly news that has been around for a while now, but still nice to hear more details. The night time tour sounds like it's gonna be pretty great!
  17. I just signed up for Knott's Berry Farm, so far the only member on Team TPR! Here's my personal page - http://support.gktw.org/site/TR/CoastingForKids/General?px=1248160&pg=personal&fr_id=1381 This is my first time participating in this event and I can't wait! This is a HUGE opportunity to do some good in the world! Let's help out some children!
  18. Stanley Tucci screaming "HOW DO YOU SAY 'GET THE F*** OUT OF THE WAY' IN CHINESE?!" was pretty damned awesome in Trans4mers.
  19. Can't wait to get to Tokyo Disney Resort this summer, but in the meantime I'm gonna have to go with the original Disneyland. I haven't been to WDW recently enough to properly debate, though, haha.
  20. They'd better rebuild. I grew up 10 miles from Seaside Heights. That town has nothing going for it aside from dirty bars if they don't rebuild the pier. Seaside Heights was always considered a fun place to go from 9am until 5pm. Once the bar crowd showed up for the evening all of the families left quickly because of how bad it got. If it turns into being just that crowd, well, yeesh.
  21. I kinda hate you from jealousy right now. Getting to meet the Irwins and party with Giraffes?! You lucky little...
