Alright, I just confirmed that I have next Thursday and Friday off (Oct. 2nd and 3rd). I'm making the trip from Vegas to do a double of Knott's Scary Farm and HHN. I'll be at Knott's on Thursday, HHN on Friday. Being a Thursday and only the second weekend of Scary Farm, what can I expect, line-wise for the haunts? Universal I've already bought a Front Of Line pass because I'm not stupid. Knott's, though, to my knowledge, doesn't have the worldwide acclaim and draw for Scary Farm that HHN does. Should I worry about buying a Front Of Line pass in advance or just wait until I'm at the park and make a decision then? With Universal it's a no-brainer; the place is a zoo every single night of HHN. Knott's, though, I get the feeling only Fridays and Saturdays would get stupid with crowds. Am I being too optimistic? I've never been to Scary Farm before so I have no idea what to expect other than a ton of fun and finally getting to see The Hanging! Thanks!

What is this Gate A I saw mentioned at AvP? Is that just another term for the front of line access? I'm thinking I'll be heading out that way October 2nd for Knott's and the 3rd for HHN. I'm planning on getting a FOL pass as soon as I'm sure I have those days off of work, but if there's another option I'd be very happy to know.

How do you watch YouTube?
KBrylczyk replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Primarily on my desktop but sometimes if I've got longer videos (like Last Week Tonight's 15-minute vids) I'll pop them on my Chromecast and go watch on my couch. I rarely bother to check my subscribed channels, I honestly don't even know why I have 99% of the channels saved. TPR vids I'll watch as they're released when I see them on Twitter or Facebook, if I miss them I generally watch them eventually when I happen to go to my YouTube homepage. The vast majority of the things I watch on YouTube are through Reddit and they're embedded. -

You're proposing they re-route the train tracks. For a sign. -

I wouldn't know about that. When I rode (last visit was way back in 2001) the MCBR didn't grab you at all. -
Just like Jew said, it's gonna be packed. Rides you won't have any problems with, though. Rides don't get lines during HHN. The haunts do. Like, 3+ hour lines. If you wanna risk it, get there before they open the gates and go straight to the back and work your way forward through the haunts. Forget the rides. After you've done the haunts feel free to ride whatever you want. If you wanna do the park at your leisure, get the front of line pass.

Seconded. The entire reason Mantis started sucking was because of that horrible trim. If it isn't removed the ride will still be sub par. It has potential to be an excellent coaster with that layout! Just let it be awesome, CP!
