  1. Um, watch the video. See that part where they go into a cave? That'd be the cave. Because it's a cave. Or maybe I need to say temple. Enclosed space. That work? And yes, Orlando has had the cave/temple/enclosed space section since forever.
  2. ^ The biggest new effect was in the cave, so if it does it would only show up in Orlando as California doesn't have the cave section.
  3. Wait, we're talking about the cone meals? And I saw someone mentioning how it needs to be in Cars land? IT ALREADY IS! During my last visit we got two for lunch, one was Mac N Cheese, the other was some chicken thingy, both in the bread cones. They're not blow-your-mind incredible but they're certainly tasty and very fairly priced (I believe $4) and more than filled us up for the day.
  4. Looks like I'm in the minority. I hate Supes and enjoy Green Lantern. I was on the Supes ops crew opening year and quickly grew tired of it, though the nightly loose article hunt sure was fun. We found more shattered phones than you would believe under the pretzel loop.
  5. Big words for a 100% in-house project. I mean, I have faith that it will be an excellent ride but that sounds like they're claiming greatest ever, haha. Good for Lagoon, though, because this will definitely have me making a trip up to SLC again next summer. Nothin' like an overnight 6-hour car ride through the middle of nowhere (seriously, Utah is EMPTY) to make you appreciate a park.
  6. http://fox13now.com/2014/09/04/lagoons-new-roller-coaster-is-out-for-blood-cannibal-coming-soon/ 116-degree drop?! Not quite Takabisha but definitely something to pucker your butthole! More information throughout the day, it seems. Edit - These pictures couldn't possibly be any smaller, could they? From what I can make out it looks like they're gonna go wild with the themeing (waterfalls and lakes) but I definitely can't make out detail to the layout. Mormons must hate modern cameras.
  7. Jungle Cruise has just exploded back into operation in its new identity, Jungle Cruise Wilderness Expeditions! Marvel at the fully renovated animatronics and brand new lighting and projection effects! Daytime POV - [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Nighttime POV (way cooler) - [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  8. ^ Thanks for the update! And now for a word from Screamscape - NOOOOO!!!! I depend on the psychotic families wasting half of their day waiting in an endless line to meet two people in costumes so they're not in line for the attractions I want to do! Dammit, Disney! Also, it's reported that Pirates is using the last row again, so, you know, hooray or something.
  9. Hey man, just some constructive criticism. I know you said the photos were from your phone, but the iPhone 5 has a way better camera than you're allowing it to be. It looks like you might need to wipe the lens off to reduce all of that excess glare. Also make sure you don't have the sun eating half of your photo like those Yolo and X2 photos. For comparison take a look at some of my TRs from the past year or two. All of those photos were taken from my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, a phone that's a year older than yours. I appreciate the update and I'm not trying to bring you down, I'm just saying you can do much better with that camera if you practice some better framing and keep the lens clean.
  10. Got it! Gonna be an excellent day!
  11. I wonder if this has been resolved (California Screamin' onboard audio) or if it'll be addressed during it's scheduled downtime beginning the 9th. I guess I'll find out on the 8th!
  12. ^ What if they modify it to fit their needs? Their Mummy is completely different from Orlando. It's always possible.
  13. Only until it becomes a reality, naysayer.
  14. Gringott's...? I'm not sure what side of Tranny's In Disguise it's on, but it seems plausible.
  15. Rome is shaping up to be one hell of a destination for our people these days. Like others have mentioned, though, I'm worried if they're saturating the market. Rainbow Magicland wasn't the busiest park I've seen in my life, but then again it was also brand new when we visited in 2012.
  16. So behind Splash Mountain, Timber Mountain Log Ride, and what else? Oh, so last place?
  17. Dude, remember what park you're talking about. There won't be any other trains on the track to worry about after media day.
  18. ^ Side of fava beans. 21+ guests receive complimentary Chianti.
  19. Just checking in again if anyone is gonna be heading to Disneyland on September 8th and/or 9th following West Coast Bash. The girlfriend and I will be at the resort all day on both days hopped up on Starbucks.
  20. Checking in again if anyone is planning on hitting Disneyland on Monday or Tuesday (8th and 9th).
  21. I wish I could link the video of this scene. It's way too NSFW, though. Also yes, that would have been amazing. Tom Cruise raining down ungodly firestorm on Six Flags. How's that for a pan-Pacific powerplay?
  22. ^ That's a very good point. Driving the 15 through the mountains during a rainstorm was one of the most terrifying things I've done on the road. It didn't help that it was late at night and I was surrounded by 18-wheelers. In other news, even though I really, REALLY don't like Magic Mountain, that Labor Day Sale was impossible to pass up. $69.99 for a gold season pass that includes parking at every Six Flags property? SOLD!
  23. Am I seriously seeing people talk about how the winter might delay the construction? This is LA. There is no winter. There is summer and slightly cooler summer. I was in Hollywood this past January and it was 78 degrees.
