  1. These new details sound very promising. It sounds like the vehicles will be surrounded by screens or immersive scenery rather than just having scenery in front.
  2. Nothing edgy here. B&M hypers are just awful rides. Anyone who knows me understands my absolute hatred of them.

  4. Well, that confirms it. Vortex is gonna be re.....named. Vertex.
  5. ^ While heat is nice, it also has an un-skippable preshow that goes on for far too long and they will happily make you stand outside in the cold for-frigging-ever waiting for the doors to open rather than just get butts inside. Edit - They should also blast this in Skully for HitP -
  6. I agree. A tuneup with a hefty amount of C4.
  7. ^ Can't we, you know, blow it up? Make a grand spectacle out of it for a July 4th event or something? Make it a double feature with Houdini being blown to smithereens?
  8. Because they hurt the feelings of some loud morons who don't understand why a separately ticketed event doesn't automatically extend to them with their single day park ticket.
  9. Wow, I really am that dense. I've been so out of the loop. I swore Justice League was going into the Mach 1 building.
  10. ^ Sucks you had such a hard time leaving. We drove through Trenton on our way home, left the park around 8:45 and could have given you a ride, haha. You'd have been crammed in the back of a Civic but hey, free ride is a free ride.
  11. I was there last night with the woman. Holy CRAP Batman was running like it was high on crack! Rode in the front and probably got minor frostbite but sweet lawd baby jesus it was worth it! Also, all you Green Lantern haters are dumb. That thing was riding like a dream last night! Zero head banging (not that I've ever experienced it), fast, forceful, basically everything B&M has been missing for the past ten years. Joker was shut down. Boo.
  12. Three things - That white "christmas tree" in the lobby is awesome! However I thought there was only a miniscule amount of Chinese Christians. Seems odd to me that they'd have that display. In your short time at the resort have you seen more westerners or asians staying at the hotel? That would explain it. Psy in lollipop form? Creepy but awesome. Oppa eat me style. The Evil name tag. Please tell me they sell these in the gift shop and I will happily buy one from you.
  13. Looks like I need to take a trip to Japan next year to say goodbye to one of the many amazing places in Japan. The day we visited back in 2015 was gray and rainy but I had some of the most fun there!
  14. There's something wrong with your brain.
  15. I've seen that video. A few of them, actually.
  16. I had a fantastic day at Space World in 2015 even with is being rainy all day. That being said, there are only two rides that need to be saved - 1 - Twin Mercury Adventure Cruise. Best damn flume ride on earth. 2 - Black Hole Scramble. It's not big, it's not fast, but holy crap is it weird and should be protected. Clearly you need to watch more Japanese porn.
  17. Turn your head and cough. I'm strangely aroused... Aw, who am I kidding? That's Bowie. I'm aroused.
  18. The woman and I went to Christmas Candyland this past Monday and had a great time! A few notes - Noel - The light show thingamajig in The Hollow. It's not the best Christmas light set to music show you'll ever see, but you can walk through the entire show so it's pretty wild to be totally surrounded by the dancing lights. They did a great job with it! Again, nothing super technical, mostly just lights blinking to the beat, but the immersion helps it a lot. Take a ride on the sky ride during a showing! Sooperdooperlooper - This ride is cold. The tunnel is colder. It's still AWESOME, though! HOT FRIGGIN CHOCOLATE! - Seriously, if you don't buy the $10.75 souvenir mug with free refills, you must have a short circuit in your brain. The hot chocolate itself is delicious and creamy. In the three-ish hours we spent at the park we went through at least 8 refills. Do the math, that's some cheap hot chocolate. Plus the souvenir mugs are cute with different art work made by children on each mug! Even more still, they donate $1 from every mug sold to a local children's hospital! Thank me later. Laff Trak - I've been on this model of spinner a few times before (Lagoon, Santa Cruz, etc) so I knew it would be cute and fun enough. Our first ride was with a father and son on the other half and we twirled a bit, never really got spinning. We came back a half hour later and it was just us facing forward to start. The first half of the ride was fun, had a few full 360s in there...then we hit the trick track in the middle of the ride. That got us started, then the whiping right turn into the block brakes before the helix sent us into the goddamn twilight zone! Holy CRAP we were spinning at ludicrous speed! Seriously, we went plaid! We hit the final brakes and spun five more times (that I could count) before the catch bar slowed us down. Both of us were dizzy as hell and laughing our butts off. Moral of the story? Sit two adults facing forward to begin the ride, nobody facing backwards. Enjoy. Or puke, whichever works for you. Wildcat - HOOOOOO YEAH BABY!!!!!!! I know you dumdums love to hate this ride, but I loooooove to love it. Those Millennium Flyers made this twisted mess of wood a real fun ride! I loved it with the PTC benches but even more so now! We had a bunch of airtime pops, tons of laterals, and plenty of fun! Say what you want, I don't care, but this ride is better than Lightning Racer by a mile. Dry Gulch Railroad - Nice lighting displays you can't see by just walking around, plus they toot the steam whistle. Yay trains! Lighting around the park - It's all nice and sparkly! I dunno what else to say about it. Hooray things! It's definitely a fun event, but I just wish they'd open more of the big rides. Like Skyrush. And Storm Runner. And Fahrenheit. And Great Bear. But mostly Skyrush. Skyrush.
  19. Quick and easy solution? Blow it up. Nobody will miss it and I'm the the investors are over it.
  20. Just saw the Treasure Hunters POV is posted. You sick, sick man.
  21. Calling that terrible heap of pain "classic" is like calling this a classic - You deserve to listen to that, heathen.
  22. The Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride is still fine, right? RIGHT?!
