The next TPR event should do the "Big Bear Train" in response, kinda like the "Fat Train Challenge." Shirtless hairy fat dudes. Sign me up. This better not awaken anything in me... -

^ If there's one thing I've learned from decades of schlocky sci-fi movies and books it's that the drones will not only go haywire, but it will be revealed that they were carrying guns and ammo this whole time and work for aliens. -

^ That's standard for Lagoon. They have a limited market since they're in a very remote location. Honestly, besides us nerds, who do you know outside of the Sal Tlay Ka Siti metro that has visited Lagoon or plans to visit? They have next to no competition to keep prices low (Magic Mountain has all the kings of the industry within 20 miles) and they keep the park very well maintained and they've got a solid lineup of attractions. I've got no problem paying the premium. -

It's just Stockholm Syndrome at this point. -
You two are seriously overestimating what this is. I have personally gone through the safari dozens of times growing up, either with my family, friends, or otherwise. I've gone through in rusted-out Chevy Novas, I've gone through in just-waxed BMWs. There is absolutely nothing at all, animal or environmental, in the safari that will do damage to your vehicle as long as you stay on the road. The dangerous animals (lions, tigers) are behind cages, the other animals are shy or want to lick you (or the bread you have). The only wild card was the monkeys. We usually took the bypass road for the monkeys, but I've been through the main road more than once and the worst thing that happened was the little bastard took a shit on the sunroof.

That's the new Mack/Proslide collaboration to premier in 2021. It's a launched spinning coaster that transitions into a water coaster larger than Mammoth maybe -
Shanghai Disney Resort Discussion Thread

while watching the video what stood out most, very few strollers. she kept commenting how the kids wore masks. These are just Asian culture staples already, though. You're hard pressed to find strollers or ECVs in any Chinese or Japanese Disney park and they don't stigmatize face masks like us "muh freedumbs" idiots in America. -
I'm not sure I like the precedent this is setting. Many theme parks won't follow suit as they haven't ventured into hotels, but Disney and Universal could certainly follow this approach if they're required to only allow a percentage of their capacity in. It would keep their occupancy rate high while keeping park guest numbers close to the restrictions. After seeing Shanghai's wait times and distancing methods I'm chomping at the bit to do a Disneyland Resort trip when they reopen but if it comes with a $200-$600 per night requirement then forget it.

^ No worse than what you'll encounter at any other amusement park that's been given the all-clear. The tube question is solved by assigning tubes per person or group. Makes me wonder if there are additional protocols being implemented that we haven't heard about yet or if it's an oversight. Regardless, if regular parks are opening, water parks should be, as well, in my opinion. That's not to say I'm one of the end the shutdown protesters, far from it, I'm just having trouble finding where the proverbial line is that separates water parks and amusement parks. Oh and I swear if someone replies saying it's water so help me... -

Rulantica remaining closed is strange to me, same for all water parks. The water is chlorinated. I'm no chemist but doesn't chlorine kill basically everything that could be potentially harmful in a pool or circulated system? Shouldn't slides at least be open? Pools can get crowded and confusing for social distancing, as can water play areas, but slides are easily distanced. -

You've never been to an Asian Disney park, have you? There are mile-long lines at the gate every single morning well before the park opens. The parks will probably just have the temperature monitor stations set up as far from the gate as possible and have them up and running at 5am daily. -

They only have one parking lot coaster and that’s Scream. Colossus and part of X were both built over old parking lots, too. Goliath, Twisted Colossus, Scream, X2, and to a less extreme extent Batman and Apocalypse, as well. Those last two aren't built over the original parking lot, at least, but they are both over flat pavement or gravel with next to no environmental elements. Riddler at least has a ton of trees throughout. -

I find it hilarious that the guy couldn't find the War Of The Worlds plane crash set. It's directly east of the large blue screen he mentions on his approach and isn't very well hidden. Also that video reallllllllly highlights the Parking Lot Coaster aspect of Magic Mountain. I knew it was bad, but holy hell. -

^^ That's pretty cool. The Trapeze act from Zed is the best I've ever seen, and funny story about it, that act was sent to Mystere in Vegas after Zed shut down. It replaced the High Bar act that used to be in the show. Same music, but the routine has, of course, changed over time. The acrobats are a great group of people, as well. For those that don't know, I used to work at Mystere as an automation tech. That trapeze setup was the second-most complicated scenic element in the theatre, but it broke down the least, funnily enough.
