Oh, I agree completely, especially with Dwayne Johnson playing the character. I say unproven because the character has only existed so far in print media and some animation. He's not nearly as well-known outside of those fan circles, though.

Am I the only person who rides Jungle Cruise for nothing but the Skippers and their performances? Sure the ride and animatronics are cute but c'mon, these are comedy gods at their peak.

Six Flags pre-empting a movie by a year isn't in their wheelhouse, though it isn't out of the question. I guess we'll see! I know they only have just begun filming the Black Adam movie with The Rock.

According to the rumors they're not even doing any haunts on the backlot this year (lots of new soundtstage construction), so even the half-assed facades you'd get down there won't be available. Get ready for a whole lot of painted plywood entryways.

After riding the stand-up, caged-in Parachute Drop at Tokyo Dome City back in 2015 I'd be willing to give it a shot. The parachute drop was freaky because any little breeze made the cage sway. A rigid structure like a ferris wheel probably won't be as terrifying. Probably.

Not anymore. That's the exact reason the capacity went to shit. They removed the MCBR and now the train in the station must wait for the train on the track to clear the final brake run before it can dispatch. It's a blessing and a curse. Blessing because we get the incredible airtime back for the second half. A curse because a three-train wait is now a half hour.

Seriously, how do people not just turn around and go home? If I saw that awaiting me I'd know full-well that the day would be horrible.

Awwww, man! Well, I'm glad I was able to ride it before this. It is easily among my favorite rides, it's just a damn shame they didn't sell. I can see why they didn't, though.

^ To pile on to Number 3, Kaleidoscope and Monster are worth a ride. IIRC their Tilt-A-Whirl is run pretty darn well, too. You mentioned the rapids ride and I kinda want to stop you. I've not ridden it in a loooooong time but when I did the water smelled like sewage and the smell didn't leave any of our clothes until a couple of cycles through the washing machine. It may have been an isolated incident but you're never gonna catch me on that ride again. The log flume is great, though!

Sure sounds like it derailed. The wheels were no longer on the rails. De-railed. It didn't come completely off the track but this is still, quite literally, a derail. They even say it three times after denying it.
