  1. So, what, are they gonna shoot silly string at you while you ride? Because I'm OK with that.
  2. Close it, dismantle it, then use the track for that long-rumored expansion of Xcelerator that is totally going to happen this year guys, trust me.
  3. Why's that? He's Aquaman's biggest villain and is going to have a larger role in the sequel coming soon. Sounds like the perfect character to capitalize on.
  4. I know it's a preview and there are a few really cool things going on here (live force effects, light speed, food) but it seems like they over-promised and under-delivered in a big way. I'm very curious how they're going to stretch this into a 48-hour experience without tons of downtime. Until the full thing opens I'll withhold most of my criticism. That being said, the actors clearly need more rehearsal time and the interactive experiences honestly seem more fitting for a preshow at an attraction in the park.
  5. I was gonna say everything is blue because SEAworld...
  6. Someone just lost their Christmas bonus...
  7. Is that the giant bacon strip float? Because that's honestly the most accurate way to honor America.
  8. Red Force at Ferrari Land would like a 110mph word with you. Superman at Magic Mountain would like a 100mph, 25-year-old word with you, as would Tower Of Terror in Australia.
  9. Ah, yes, the Wacky Worm with a 58" height requirement.
  10. I'm more lost than Kunta Kinte at a Merle Haggard concert in this thread right now...
  11. Friendly reminder that most RMCs are 48" including the Raptor coasters. This is just a strange decision. Maybe now Premier will finally design a new train that's, you know, good.
  12. You've been blacklisted from the Six Flags hiring offices. Kingda Ka reduced their trains from six to one or two (on a good day) after like two seasons and it's not an upcharge.
  13. ^ School trips are school trips.
  14. I can't speak for Holiday World but I know the school days at Six Flags are generally one of the absolute worst times to visit. They're pretty crowded, the kids generally have minimal to no supervision, line jumping is rampant, etc.
  15. I friggin' LOVE that idea. You go on a ride-along with Nick and Judy as they go about their day until things get wild.
  16. ^ Judging by the concept art, the building in the middle with the cylindrical bits around the outside looks to be the Arendelle castle. That'll do a decent job of hiding the majority of the green monster. Maybe it's part of the ride building for Frozen Ever After? I'd assume that's mostly housed in the North Mountain, though. Backstage offices? That's a lot of HVAC madness on the roof for a simple office building, though. Maybe it's Walt's cryogenic facility.
  17. Today I was so deep into my boredom that I was killing time by fartin' around on Imgur and I came across a rather, shall we say, interesting looking building plan. Now, I'm no expert, but this sure seems to match a certain construction site in Epcot and if, IF this is what I think it is, then hot damn, I see a significant portion of the layout in the Universe Of Energy building, seemingly dark ride-ish. Possibly multiple endings? I don't know. I do know, though, that the top portion of the building is unquestionably a transfer track area. I wish the resolution was better than potato-cam.
  18. That's just what Disney does. They match the building color to the visible surroundings. Here's Guardians at Epcot, matching the lower trees, taller trees, and the sky. If you're in the park and actively looking for it you'll see it but otherwise it fades into the background.
  19. Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Sometimes things just go wrong. Yes, negligence had a hand in this but the ride op made a mistake as they were going through the motions. Some people act like the ride op actively tried to ensure the child was thrown.
  20. There's really nothing preventing that from happening. Not like there's contracted ownership of those empty storefronts. Screw it. Build a long, meandering coaster that races through the mall area tunneling through the walls. That would be a blast!
  21. Just replace Spookslot with a clone of Vogel Rok and theme it to a haunted castle. No complaints.
