  1. 1. The toll is included in the cost of parking. So if you have a platinum pass you pay nothing. 2. I'm not exactly sure, as I went via Buffalo back in May. Considering you're from Toronto, the Buffalo route might be quicker construction or not. Personally I found the drive a bit easier going through Buffalo. You can book a site at camper village from Cedar Point's resort page. Although camper village is campers only, no tents.
  2. I have no idea what ride they are referring to with that last comment. Hell, I don't even know what "ba-zoomed 'round a giant German fau.'" means??
  3. That was quite impressive. And now I'm hungry damnit.
  4. Well a number of the Darwin awards are urban legends ...
  5. Engineering, physics, and math mostly. Although pick a career that you enjoy doing outside of rollercoasters. That way if you don't end up in a roller coaster job you will still be happy. Because being a coaster designer is extremely difficult to get into.
  6. Where are you going specifically in New York State? Where you are will change what your options are.
  7. Also the fact that they're Gnomes, not Knomes.
  8. Except for the fact that you screwed it up! Step 1: Steal underpands Step 2: ???? Step 3: Profit.
  9. Not to split hairs or anything, but he wasn't trying to cheat Six Flags out of an addmision. He had already been into the park that day. He had gone out for lunch, and was coming back in. So he had already paid for a days admission. He was just taking a short cut back in or something.
  10. That would kill their reputation. The public wouldn't see it as suing for damages. They'd see it as a big corporation suing a grieving family. It's really a lose/louse situation for Six Flags. They'd be better off just trying to brush this incident off, and hope that people start to forget about it. Soon enough people will start focusing on some other injustice, and this will be ancient news.
  11. That'd be my guess as well. I'm thinking this was probably taken right after the first drop in the tunnel. That drop hits you pretty suddenly, so any articles sitting in a loose pocket are going to come flying out.
  12. Again, Mt. Olympus just doesn't seem to be the type of place that would bother sending people out to collect broken loose articles from a tunnel.
  13. I don't even get the "trying to grab feet" angle. Who jumps two fences and tries to grab at people's feet who are riding a 50mph roller coaster? He'd have to the dumbest kid alive not to realize what would happen if he actually managed to grab something. It'd be like walking into the middle of an interstate and trying to grab a cars side mirror as it goes by.
  14. Mt. Olympus' employees are as lazy as they come. It's a chore enough for them to get off their butts to check lap bars. I can't really see them climbing down into that tunnel daily to bring back smashed cell phones.
  15. I realize that we've probably all done some stupid dangerous things. But something like this just boggles the mind. There is no logical reason to be where the kid was. I simply can not understand how these type of accidents keep happening.
  16. You can't be serious? How can you compare things that have mostly minor, long term consequences to something which has an almost certain violent death consequence? There's no comparison between what you listed and jumping two fences to run underneath a moving roller coaster.
  17. They should now wrap all support columns in bubble wrap.
  18. X2 could give him a good head bashing though. Tad too rough IMHO. I'd suggesting something thrilling, but smooth like a B&M. (Tatsu/Batman at MM, or Silver Bullet at Knotts)
  19. Wait, so the outside park fence is just a normal 6 foot chain link fence? That seems kind of minimal. I always figured the outside fences should be larger, with possibly barb wire on them. Especially in the area of thrill rides. I'd imagine any lawyer would go after that point.
  20. I wouldn't necessarily call that a guarantee. The fact that the kid broke into a restricted area doesn't necessarily let Six Flags off the hook. They would have to be able to prove that they did everything possible to keep people out. I'd think of it like a backyard swimming pool. If some kid jumps your fence and drowns, you are liable. I know my parents had to put combo locks on the gates of their house for insurance reasons. There was also a case where a guy was breaking into a house, and fell through a skylight. He sued and won.
  21. 50 hits is next to nothing. And quite possibly those 50 hits were generated from 1 or 2 people tops. Or if more people, they were only viewing the first page and then leaving. Either way, not a good number. To be brutally honest, the clip you posted looks like an average Geocities website from the mid 90s. It looks quite dated, and lacking content. (although I can't really judge on content, as I can't tell from one example). If you want to bring it back for your own personal enjoyment, go for it. But if you're intention is for it to be a popular website then you're going to need to do alot of work on general website design. And being high in Google rankings for obscure search terms isn't a good indication either. That's not hard to achieve.
  22. That's what I'd guess as well. What timeshare is going to let in an 18 year old kid? They're not stupid, and they would know you're just there for the free tickets.
  23. The news reports don't mention anything about his head being removed. "decapitation" doesn't imply a head being removed. Could be any body part. Although obviously in this case it's most likely. But if it was a low enough zone and he got hit in the torso, it would be quite messy. Franky I don't like to even think about it. Gives me chills.
