I assume it's the same as around here, in which it'll be either a tandem jump, or a static line. Tandem is when an instructor is strapped to your back. Static line is where there is a cable attached to your rip cord that pulls the parachute as soon as you jump out of the plane(basically). From what I understand those are the two options available to beginners. I'd imagine I'd go for the tandem, as at least with that you get more freefall.

Yes and no. It's not pure ERT, as much as it is just a bit of extra time in the park. It tends to be really busy, so you're not getting as many rides as you'd expect during a tpical ERT session. I really enjoyed CM when it was in September that one year, as the park was not busy that day. But when they have it on a saturday in June it tends to be packed, which lessens the amount of rides. It's worth going to as long as you're not coming from really far away just for the event.

We're going to need more details to actually help you. It's a bit more complicated then that. Saying a 7.2V battery really doesn't mean much. If you mention the exact camera model, and the exact model of whatever battery you plan to buy, then we should be able to be of more help.

^ I have an 8mb card that came with my camcorder, and a 32 meg card that came with my digital camera. Both are far too small to be any use to me. Though you might find that a card of that size is dirt cheap anyways.

I can't believe you suggested that someone hold their camera right up against the frame of an arrow coaster. A slightly shaky POV is much better then a camera that is smashed into a thousand peices.

I've had the usual types of sicknesses. The only bad one was blood poisoning when I was in kinder garten. My dog bit me, it got infected, which landed me in the hospital for quite awhile. It spread from my hand to my shoulder before they managed to stop it.

Cedar Point isn't really all that unique IMO. The view from the causeway is great. However once you're in the park it's pretty much just flat land with coasters. No elevatin changes, very little trees with the exception of the frontier area,etc. Though there's nothing boring about the rides, the layout of the park is boring.
