  1. Excellent photo TR. Those benches KICK ASS. If only more parks were that creative.. FEC's are really the backbone of the amusement industry, but often get overlooked by enthusiasts because of their small size and usually limited ride selection. Its good to see that they have not been completely forgotten. -J (Who is off to make www.FECReview.com ..) Edit: I wanted to go to Space Camp all throughout my childhood (damn you Nickelodeon commercials) but never could, its good to get a look at this too.
  2. This is a giant pet peeve of mine. If you get into the other lane miles before you have to there is (theoretically) a less likely chance of there being a lengthy traffic jam when you actually get to the merge. I always hate the ignorant people who pass me while I am in the correct lane, only to realize the other lane ends in about fifty feet and then suddenly jerk in front of me. Ugh. I hate driving.
  3. EXCELLENT TR and pics. Silverwood remains #1 on my 'USA Parks to Visit' list. One day..
  4. ^Great idea.. No Flyers? Best ride in the park. No Saturator? It only has 9 operating days left before its gone forever.. Otherwise great TR, its nice to see Carowinds get some attention since it usually never does.
  5. http://www.thrillride.com in 98/99 followed by a long stint at http://www.danimation.com. After Danimation wayyy too many sites to even think about. Does anyone remember http://www.rcdb.com when it just had United States coasters..? This thread makes me feel old.
  6. I have to stick my nose in this GCI debate.. (though I have not been on Renegade or Thunderbird yet..) Thunderhead is by far the best. Rumbler/Troy are neck and neck for second, though I would probably give the nod to Rumbler. Ozark while fun is missing something.. the ending is terrific, but the beginning is kind of blah. Hi Freddie!
  7. ^Stone Mountain is pretty BALLA too. Wish they would get a credit.
  8. Dollywood has better rides, but SDC is the better park. Its splitting hairs anyway, they are both amazing places and both are among my Top 5 favorite parks.
