Look, If you were working Saturday you know how busy the park was. Yes the park closed at 9pm. But they still had to let the people ride who was in line... And if you know how busy it was the line was really long. I boarded twister 2 at 9:10pm after waiting 25 mins.

Mike, The Half pipe opened up around 6:30pm. Good News is you will more then likely be getting the Half Pipe credit on Satuday evening with walk on access.... Hope you made it safely to SLC!

Becasue I found that it was smoother then an SLC... The catch is It helps to be fat so that you are not moving side to side.

Mike, Just an FYI, The Boomerrang at Eltichs is still down. It will not be up for roughly 2 weeks. They have been shutting Halfpipe down around 1pm until 4:30pm daily. It's suggsted that you ride it first thing.

I went to Elitchs on Friday the 24th. It's sad to see the "flying coaster" standing but not operating.... Boomerrang is down. Anyone know why? Twister 2 had some faults though out the day Halfpipe was running when i got there and shut down within 30 mins. Reopened around 4pm. ME ran a few empty trains at one point during my visit. Both trains felt very smooth..... Ghostbusters is a nice addition to the park Shake Rattle and Roll had some downtime as well... Sidewinder was a good ride as always. Rainbow was down. That's sad. I love that ride. TOD was running 2 sides. 1 side was missing a OTSR on one seat...

It will be very interesting to see how many issues they have with this ride form a maintaince standpoint.

Does anyone know if they have shutdown the Rainbow at Elitchs for inspections?

This is some stupid Crap. Roller Coasters "are" the safest mode of transportation. Yes Cables do break and yes they may "slice" a foot or two off. But who the heck cares. how many runs did that Tower have on it on that cable???? Just my .02 cents coming from a Skilift Inspector / tech / operator / installer.

Hey guys, I get to take a free to Trip to Amsterdam and Athens Greece in less then a month. What Coasters are there in Amsterdam or Athens? I will be out of the Country for roughly 3 weeks. I dont have to pay for a single thing. I'm not sure what there is if anything. Thanks guys, Jeff
