  1. Can I have some pope POV please And if O.L.R. ist pope...what will iRat be then ?
  2. Honestly...when I see those pictures of iRat on facebook...I just feel I`m looking at the worlds best coaster. Nothing less. Just OMG.
  3. I`m not shure if I would EVER go on that one For me...there`s such a huuuuge difference between a coaster or flat looking dangerous...or a ride actually being dangerous ! No...that`s not my type of ride...
  4. I love that they are building something that big in the enchanted forest...after all it a park for the little ones too so it`s good to see them care. I had the oppotunity to talk to someone who had the chance to take a look at detailled construction plans of Artur the Ride, and he said that even for the standards of Europa park that looked incredible After seeing Wodans queue I think Europa Park will pull off something outstanding here
  5. I have no idea why they did that as the whole new complex will not open before 2014, but Europa Park already put Artur-The Ride on their park map... and especially looking at the entrance of the building I can see this becoming a feast for the eyes Greeds...GeorgeT
  6. Oh boy I have to admit that these RMC Coasters really do change my feeling that it`s absolutely no problem to live in Europa coasterwise First Texas Giant...then Outlaw Run...and now THIS
  7. Sooo true...but the W.M. Element really could make OTSRs necessary
  8. The "congrats" thing is an awesome idea. But the "surprise" one is still my absolute favorite...I just love it Looking forward to see more of those drawings...
  9. Knowing TPR a littlebit, I was totally expecting something like the wacky worm video. Would have been too easy posting something "good" And the ostrich thing looks like the beginning of an excellent running gag thing...
  10. For me...I find my self having loads of fun on coasters that are good without any theming...I really enjoy them a lot. But I find myself LOVING the themed ones...that`s the difference. It`s exactly the same with parks : I like the little themed a lot if the rides are good...but I LOVE the heavily themed ones...and I `m willing to travel and pay a lot more for the places with that kind of atmosphear that you`re just getting by lots of theming. Greeds...George
  11. This thread is just awesome...love it ! Thanks Hanno
  12. Very, very good family coaster concept IMHO
  13. Fixed ! Until I was about fiveteen I always wanted to live in the states seeing all the huge coaster linups compared to the European parks. But things have changed a bit cause I find what Ginzo described relatively often here in Europe...and in the long run I would say thet the overall experince and atmosphere is MORE important than riding the most/biggest coasters a day...
  14. Honestly...I think "The smiler" is a VERY bad name... But anyway...the coaster itself is sooo much more important. If the ride will kick a**, Who cares about the name
  15. Yep...but a "short" ride is okay if it`s intense IMHO. Honestly...everybody I was talking to last season said, that the faster Wodan went (warming up/breaking in) the more fun they had ! I can really see Wodan becoming a very good coaster just because of the insane pacing it has on steelies
  16. Yep...that`s not located in Rust at Europa Park...it`s being build at Mack in the city of Waldkirch...it`s just for testing On another note : If those rumours are true, then "Wodan" will start in the 2013 summer season on steel wheels ! There were some testruns with a microphone mounted on the train to check the noise level AFAIK. "Wodans" layout is not that good...mabe a littlebit too short...but if it will run on the steelies like it did during those crazy fast first testruns in March 2012...then I can see Wodan becoming a lot better....sound and speed-wise
  17. I guess I have too little to comepare because I haven`t ridden any ghost trains outside Europe. But I`d love to know which one is the best ? What do you guys think ? And do you think there`s a "top notch" one in Europe ? Greeds...GeorgeT
  18. Great report so far...love your comments. Looking forward for more ! Thanks Dude
  19. Robb`s way on commenting the ride videos is entertaining as hell...I love it ! And...oh yesss...HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
  20. Yep...some very good pictures IMHO. Thanks ! Was there again last weekend...and it didn`t dissapoint...the theming is so lovely...Winjas & Maus au Chocolat
  21. Unfortunately there were so little reviews of this years TPR Europe trip...so I`m really looking forward to the rest !
  22. Blue Fire is kind of "forceless" because it was build at Europa Park...FOR their target audience. And though Blue Fires layout is nothing amazing IMHO riding Blue still shows perfecly the potential of the mack Megacoaster concept. The trains will be PERFECT for something forceful yet comfortabe, and that`s what we`re gonna see in the future...hopefully. Ahh, and by the way : Another Mack Megacoaster was confirmed for french "Nigoland" AFAIK Greeds...GeorgeT
  23. Ummm...what about Manta at Sea World...doesn`t that coaster count because it has no loops ? And what about the Blue Fire Clone that Mack will build for the Winter games at Sotchi ??? It`s probably too early to say Mack coasters will be more popular in the future that Intamins, but I really don`t think that it`s THAT unrealistic seeing their latest orders and knowing their outstanding quality. In my opinion Blue Fire`s layout is NOT outstanding...but the Mack mega coaster Concept and trains is just awesome IMHO. Greeds...GeorgeT
  24. I guess Mack is absolutely NOT on the cheap side. Mack is about quality and reliablity...it`s NOT Vekoma (thank god)
  25. Now that`s a VERY good descision IMHO. Go Liseberg
