We went back to Traintown in Sonoma CA today to pick up the credit that wasn't operating last month. It's a Wisdom Dragon double helix tire driven coaster with overly padded lapbars (we like!). Submitted for your preusal are some pics and a short video. Enjoy yourselves, wipe hands on pants. Traintowninternets.mpg It's just over 6mb and about a minute long. Watch with your family tonight! They even had a Farup Sommerland like mini death course! All the rides are kinda situated around this lake, no I didn't fall in with my camera this time! The coaster "Dragon Train" costs $1.75, thats 0.35 euros to you Euro folks I'm happy to be back

Holiday World & Indiana Beach on July 4th
Jeezus Juice replied to Real's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Sorry, crystal ball is in the shop and Orko from He-Man won't return my calls. I suppose you could e-mail Gargamel and see if he has any sooth-seer potions. He's been on the down low since the Yohan sex abuse scandle so he doesn't make many public apperences. Maybe you could ask Jesus. Since the 4th isn't a religious holiday he won't be out delivering presents and he could prolly keep the crowds down for you. Plus he can walk on water so you wouldn't have to worry about parking near the bridge at IB. You might not like the woodies their though since they don't follow the traditional woodie construction being built over water and all. I consider them Purple Plastic coasters because they are neither made of plastic nor purple in color. Have fun! -Juicy -
Well, spiderman has a single rider line. I'd say hit Hulk first. It's closer anyways. Plus I've noticed that Marvel Island is usually the first one to open. Sometimes even before posted opening hours. I'd say arrive 30 min prior to posted opening time, hit Hulk and Spidey, then tour the park counterclockwise. Then by the time you get to Dragons you can flip off the crowds on the other side of the lake. And buy some corn from the magic Oak tree for christs sakes! Jesus, your right there anyways! -Juice

I wonder how long that melty face make-up took to put on. Best Twiztid video ever. -
You can usually buy a 2 day Uni parkhopper online and get 3 days free. That will give you a total of 5 days of parkhopping, even if your only able to go for an hour or so. If your planning on going to IOA I'd get either the one-day one-park or the 5day hopper. If your interested Old Town in kissimmee is close to WDW on east 192 and has shops, rides, and no admission and stays open pretty late. OR you could do what I usually do when I have an evening to kill in orlando and don't want to use up a park admission: Park at Downtown Disney and grab a free disney bus to one of the Magic Kingdom hotels. Take the monorail (free) to the main entrence and watch the fireworks from out side the park (free). You get a great view with no crowds and you can still hear the show audio pretty good. plus you beat the crowds heading out because your already outside of the park. -Jeezus Juice <--Loves Florida

Nice photos. I really liked Hydra, even though it only has 4 inversions. Dude, the Cyclone is totally scary. If you ride in the front you can totally picture the train diving right between the rails to your doom. Dude, since when did Moosh get a tan? -

At least they didn't pick the absolute worst place in the entire bay area traffic wise for a themepark. Although I would love to meet Homie the Clown. How fresh would that be!? ^^^Love the "Men on Film" reference! Jeezus "Two snaps, a twist, and a kiss!" Juice -

Oh, I was finally able to watch your Funderland video. Dude, were totally going there! I didn't know they had a train too. Now I just have to find out if anyone has been to the two parks in Lodi and Fresno. It would be a great feat of coaster whoreness to actually venture into the central valley for off-beat coasters. -Don -

You know we actually went to SFMW one day in the rain, and the ride-op at the road runner coaster was so bored that she said if we we're willing to sit in bucket seats full of water we could ride no problem! It was wet, but thats how kiddie credits should be! Now, if your talking PGA's Taxi Jam, I'm your CreHo. Wait until you see me getting my Junior Gemini credit in this years DVD -Don -

Yeah, it is pretty sweet. I do short term heathcare related contracts. The contract I'm on now is in San Francisco and keeps getting extended and I'm happy to stay put. I was able to set up my hours to 16 on sat and 16 on sun. I still work 32 hours a week but I get 5 days off in a row. Also as part of my contract all housing and transportation and a daily food allowance (I'm a shrewd negotiator 8) ) Of course to be qualified for my job I had to spend two years of college with absolutly NO MONEY at all. This is my way of catching up. If you ever get the urge to ride at SFMW again (M-F only) let me know and we'll meet you there! Or if you have a weekend off and want to bring the fam to SF for a hike or picnic my hospital is in a great location, plenty of free parking and awesome golden gate views! -Don "Obviously buried in work right now!" Well, I only work on weekends. What would you expect a coaster tool to do with that much free time? 8) We're actually about halfway through our summer trips. All thats left now is the week in Branson, 3 weeks in Europe, and a week in Chicago/Dells before the fall trips to Haunt at Knotts and HHN at USF/IOA. Of course we'll have to go to WDW again while we're there...and then Cypress is getting that spinner...and isn't Space Mountain opening soon...and we have that SFMM Hurricane Harbor ticket that is just going to waste.... I don't plan the trips, the trips plan me!! -

It was actually cheaper (and closer) to fly into Kansas City. We went with Frontier Airlines on travelocity for around $230/each. Southwest offers nonstops to Kansas City from oakland so you may want to check them out as well. You know, if you dont mind a little driving, WOF, SFStL, and Branson make a nice little triangle! Mr Freeze may be worth it. If you have a chance though don't miss Silver Dollar City. It's seriously one of our favorite parks. We rate it higher than Dollywood even. Plus were going to see Yakov! You can't do that in piegon forge! Don "In Soviet Russia, revue watches you!" Garrison http://www.yakov.com/TVcommercials.html <- you've gotta watch his commercial -

Wow, Roar, V2 AND Zonga closed. I was actually thinking of stopping by on Wenesday after dropping some people off at OAK. I'm glad I saved the $10 and aggrivation. I just went to the Novato skatepark instead. All rides were open there! 8) God Stargate is teh dumb. I kinda missed Mongor and the Data Rapers last time I was there. I'd hit up PGA with you tomorrow but I gotta get ready for our Branson trip next week. -Don "How about Traintown in two weeks?" Garrison -

Well, it (chiller) wasn't operating when we were there on friday. There appeared to be at least 3 maintence people working on the red train on the maintenence spur. This could have something to do with the valley robin had a few weeks ago. For all I know they may have been doing late daily checks and chiller could have opened later that day. We left at noon. With Kingda Ka down and chiller not open we decided to go to Rye Playland to pick up 3 credits we didn't want to pay for last summer. Have a good time, I hope Chiller is open for you. Dude, you gotta take me to Centralia next time we come up. I love throwing crap in flaming earth fissures! Looks like you guys had fun while I sat here at work. Have fun at GADV, maybe Chiller will actually open while your there. -Don -
^ Great! Thanks for the additional info. We have driven by this place a lot but always in snow season so the waterpark is never open. We've been invited to a 4th of July block party in Sacramento so we'll use that as an excuse to grab a kiddie credit and check out this waterpark (finally). You guys don't even want to know what my home waterpark is like.

Gummy Glen can be found between Small World and the Sub Lagoon behind the Matterhorn. Were having alot of construction right now and the Gummy lake has been drained. Plus Sunni is being a bitch. All because I made out with her younger (and more attractive) sister. She'll be back though once she realizes I'm the best in the greater east Fantasyland area. Grammi died last year, we put smurf powder in her Gummi Berry juice. We were trying to clear up that gravely voice of hers. Oh well. -Jeezus "Bouncing here and there, everywhere really" Juice

Yay, ska music! I can't believe you guys went on boomerang. Did you meet any hot Vallejo chicks? -
Thanks for the links! I didn't see the one in your first post for some reason. Congrats on your kids credits! Just be sure to let me know if you get tired of riding with him on Taxi Jam. This year we got SFMM passes instead of SFMW ones because they were cheaper. Of course that means we don't get addmission to the two WaterWorld park (at least I don't think we do). But to be honest, nothing about those waterparks really looks that interesting. Plus the fact that most of the punk kids in NorCal have passes there and probably clog up the place. I've been waiting for a chance to go to SunSplash. That place looks awesome everytime I drive by. Plus they have mini-golf! -Don
