Pelydr replied to captain's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Oh how I miss Blue Fall! Thunder Dolphin not so much ( it really was boring after the first drop)...Linear Gale was fun, though! Damn you make me want to go back to Japan. -

I really hate the press sometimes....
Pelydr replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nice post, Robb. The media pisses me off so much these days that I really cant stand to read/watch anything news related anymore. Everything has to be spun its pathetic. Sadly, its that way because thats what people are drawn to. Sensationalism is what sells. -
Despite living less than 90 miles away I have never been and doubt I ever will make it to CNC. lol. Everything I have heard is horrible! I guess two credits is ok, but honestly I think I would still rather avoid it.

I actually really want to ride Kraken. Never ridden a floorless.

Sadly your complaints seem to echo what those who have spent time with PSP Katamari seem to echo. Perhaps they just tried to rush this and didnt spend the time to fully convert it to PSP as it should have been. Ah well, at least we have the PS2 versions.

Yessssss! You recongnize the Avalanche greatness! The one time I went to this park I rode it over and over again! This was before there was any "major" ride there! Sooooooooo fun.

I cant offer any advice on the Dodge. All I can say is that my civic has been GREAT for the the 8 years that I have had it. Very reliable and what not. Trunk space is good enough for me, handling is fantastic. The Calliber seems very new so hopefully someone with some actual knowledge can help you out there!

Although everything has been covered its not a bad idea to let your credit card company know ahead of time that you will be using your card over seas. First time I went to the UK visa started declining my ATM use cause they thought my card had been stolen as it was atypical from my normal use.

Have you ever gone to a park alone?
Pelydr replied to arlen23's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have zero coaster friends so anytime I have to make a trip, I do it alone. Kinda sucks, but ah well. -
Anyone else love Thank you for Smoking? I cant wait to see the movie once it actually comes out here? I 3> Christopher Buckley!

Thanks for the pics! I hope Indy was better than Raging Spirits at Tokyo(which basically is Indy, I think). The restraints tried to crush me. Really, though, I want to go to Disney Paris. Thanks again! -
Whats Your Favorite Disney Hotel And Why?
Pelydr replied to Hattuchili's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My favorite is the now defunct Disney Institute. Fantastic grounds, amazing townhouse rooms(for great prices) and absolute peace in what is the chaotic DisneyWorld resort. It really was a great place, IMO. -
Never met or talked to you, but happy birthday! Coaster people are good people.
-
Nice pics! The bunny rules them all, though!

You're way too cute to say just your hair looks good... I may as well post my "im totally bored and looking away from the camera as to not look TOO stupid" pic. Sadly I still look stupid. Ah well.

CP is beautiful. Derek is spot on about driving over the causeway, its just fantastic! Although, I really havent been to that many parks. Still, CP is the winner for me.

Can I have a new title? I feel boring. lol

I had pretty good luck at Cedar Point at the very end of May/early June. Other than MF the lines werent bad at all. That was also with TTD being closed due to problems the week I was there (it was its opening year, sadly I never got to ride). Im sure the earlier in the season the better!
