  1. ^It's because B&M rarely ever goes out of their comfort zone and they know what they're doing, which is a genius idea from a business standpoint. Intamin had a major screw up with the Tbars, but it's their launching rides that get the most downtime. Launches are highly complicated so you should expect downtime with it. And B&M has had problems with their chain lifts breaking, although I'm not sure quite who to blame for that one. But as I stated, B&M stays away from complex machinery and quick layouts (like Mavericks) which keeps their downtime on the down low.
  2. I was at Knott's on Friday, and some ride operator made this really freaky Jaguar voice in the line for Jaguar, it was especially freaky because the first time he did it, my friend and I were walking in the dark corridors of the queue and it was really freaking loud. The Silver Bullet ride ops always seem to be having fun too
  3. It makes the grizzly look too cute and cuddly, it needs to at least be dripping rabies foam
  4. ^Intamin's technology usually does work, and at least they try new things, B&M is way too conservative, they're a park's greatest dream to own, but lack the balls that a coaster nerd wants!!! (usually) Intamin goes out and tries new stuff, and when you use unproven, experimental systems, you're bound to get some decent down time.
  5. That is one damn fine looking fountain, this show is gonna be really exciting, the progress has really grown on me figuring as at first I thought it'd be kinda lame without major pyrotechnics. Boy am I excited now
  6. I think the lives of most TPR members has been semi completed, once those r!ings get up, we can all die happy
  7. I went to Knott's last Friday and my friends kept asking me if the ride would fall apart like in FD3, I said no, but I did tell them that people had fallen out of rides with the T bar!!!
  8. Wow Big Mike sounds like you had an awesome day, as a TGG fanboy, it's great to see how much you liked the Voyage
  9. I voted! Best of luck to everybody
  10. ^It was so amazing it was worthy of a cell phone picture
  11. Scream always bores me to tears, it rattle's like hell, and the only force it has is a second of some negative G's in the zero g roll
  12. ^They really do need to crank it up again, you can barely hear it on the lift hill, and once the ride hits full throttle forget about it, I really had to try to just hear the ending of TAKE THE TUNNEL!!!
  13. I at least acknowledged that it was over kill!!!! I find a healthy splashdown joke portioning should be one every 1 month, 24 days, 6 hours, 34 minutes and 21 seconds Set your calendar!
  14. ^If any company would name a coaster Insanity, it'd be Cedar Fair, the same company that named their Mexican restaurant: Fiesta BBQ, Mexican Food
  15. ^They do need to start cutting back, I guess if you need to know if you can fit into Scream and Batman you can just go up to the Sky Tower and sit in Scream's seat!
  16. It'll be Flying Purple Cobra on Fire with a vertical lift, r!ngs, a heartline roll, 3 loops, and a barbeque sauce splashdown!...Ahhhhh nothing beats over kill of repetitive jokes!
  17. ^Those are my 2 favorite parks!!!! WAYYYY better than Canobie, Knoebels and Dorney
  18. Six Flags really should add test seats for their rides because being to heavy to ride has gotta be really depressing. They should also hand out exit passes for people who at least make it to the stations of some rides only to have them break down.
  19. Wow. I was just about to say maybe it'll be called Anaconda since it's larger than Diamondback...but then I remembered why it wouldnt be called that
  20. ^If it's a hyper I'm 99% certain that it'll have the Dbehemothvu style seating And yes, the 14 year old joke was stupid and he was less mature for making that joke
  21. ^To make it a ride that IS there.
  22. So it was train 2's audio being fixed! Alright who called it?!
  23. I don't think I've heard anyone say anything about it, but the back side of the pier where Screamin, Fun Wheel, and Maliboomer are will be closed off during this right? Even though the best ride (Screamin) is back there, I guess the time it's running will be evened out by the park's later hours. I also must say that the technology going into this show almost sounds too cool to be true
  24. ^I 100% agree on the dork thing, they always seem to pick the biggest fanboys for a ride and it's always funny when I know more about a ride than the nationally broadcasted documentary about it. For instance when they say some ride had bone crushing g's and it's really forceless, or when they get the names of the elements wrong. I guess they are marketing towards the general public and not coaster nerds though.
  25. ^Damn you took pictures from all over that place, where did you actually sit?
