  1. ^I don't get the stomach in mouth feeling anymore either, it's something you gain from riding a lot of coasters, but PP does give me ejector air which we really don't have any of in Cali
  2. ^I will actually disagree with that, that drop gets me every time, it's much more thrilling than rides like Scream!, Boomerang, Pony Express, Silver Bullet etc
  3. ^I thought that was over by Terminator...at least one is, and I've never seen it in use
  4. Knowing the way Six Flags is headed, it'd probably be "Hey look an animal, now quick, shoot the Miracle Whip and hair gel before it's too late!"
  5. ^I'm sorry, but shooting and animals just doesnt scream family friendly to me. "Now little jimmy can bag himself a zebra without even having to leave the state!"
  6. Even though this TR was exponentially better, it's funny how I just found a video from GMA on someone who just took the tour Link But I must say that this was such an amazingly awesome in depth TR, it just makes me even more jealous that I live all the way across the country from this fantastic place
  7. And honestly, CF would probably do a racing theme much better than they do a space theme because in order to have a decent space theme, you should theme more than just the queue
  8. It works for everyone else, you probably just dont have the right player installed but that video was awesome, I love hearing coaster manufacturer's names in TV programming
  9. PP isnt pointless at all, I mean it has the best drop in all of California, and it's a way to get wet on a hot day, if I had a choice between Big Foot and PP, I'd pick PP. Besides you could fit something much larger in BF's spot if you took that water ride out.
  10. Wow those rapid fire shots were really interesting, especially the ones of the flume with the progressive splash. Awesome and very entertaining ptr
  11. ^That's funny, last time I went to SFMM on Termination Day, X2's line got to the shortest I've ever seen on a regular day around 8:00, it was probably 30-40 minutes long
  12. ^haha true, but any drop tower would be a good addition to SFMM, the reason I'm fixated on the Gyro Drop is because of its high capacity Source
  13. I'm very interested in hearing what the "Tony Hawk" thing was, it sounds awesome. Did Captain Lee actually make an appearance too?!!!
  14. Doesn't agree with this statement: Alright touche there, but at an advertising standpoint, adding more bells and whistles to it would make it sound more unique...of course extra height could take the cake
  15. ^But why not have something that distances itself from the drop towers at KBF, DCA and Castle Park, while still giving the same, or better experience?
  16. ^"Come to SFMM, we have a ride just like Supreme Scream at Knott's" That wouldnt work. It'd need to be a gyro drop so that it could be: "Come to SFMM, home of California's tallest and only rotating drop tower etc" Sorry I'm just an "SFMM should get a gyro drop" fanboy
  17. Cause this ride is going to be identical to MF? Honestly, I'm pretty sure that MF will still outrank Manta, maybe not this year on the Hawker poll since Manta still has its new coaster smell, but MF has a huge loyal fanbase.
  18. ^^^^I actually love Perilous Plunge, it gives the highest negative force in Cali and is one of the only rides in a while to make me remotely scared
  19. ^I can't tell what's less intense, the music or the coaster?!!! That was a great video with some awesome shots, and the music fit to it very well
  20. ^The track has the elongated spine though, found only on flying coasters and mega coasters, and since we know it's not a flying coaster, it must be a mega coaster. The twisted track was probably just for one of the future ride's helices
  21. Honestly, any ride with more than 3 seconds of airtime pretty much takes the cake for all of California, somebody really needs to step up...even if it's in the form of a mega lite
  22. Think about it, on the job page, wouldn't they specify that it takes 1 whole year of job training. That seems like a major detail to me, that they would not leave out. It may not necessarily take a year of job training, they may just be taking resumes and getting back to the people later in the year. Plus the mechanic doesnt have to ONLY work on the new ride, he/she can get started before it opens.
  23. ^Why wouldnt it? It allows ample time to vet the future employee and train him/her
