  1. This video got me more excited in 5 minutes, than the rest of this entire thread has in the last almost three years. I absolutely cannot wait until this opens.
  2. I do believe the little blue fish you are looking for is Dory.
  3. Thats so weird, because I find Firehawk to be really smooth and very enjoyable. Have you ridden Batwing? If so, how does that ride compare?
  4. I have to agree with you on Nighthawk, it looks so good, but its so face "meltingly" bad.
  5. My local park being VF where we have an Enterprise and a Screamin' Swing, I was just wondering if I could compare the g's between VF's and Thorpe's.
  6. The second loop on Texas Tornado was always one of my favorite elements for pictures.
  7. Do the flatrides listed have pretty standard G's, in comparison to similar rides at other parks?
  8. Is it just me, or does that Skycoaster look rather "vertically challenged"?
  9. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/this-one-girl-starts-charging-at-me-like-a-fricking-hippo/407870515634?ref=ts Watch out for Hippos.
  10. That looks amazing, Cobra theming looks unbelievable!
  11. ^Thank you. I have done this, but the website listed was a much quicker way to pick up many at one time. That's why I was wondering if there were any similar sites.
  12. In the video posted above, it does not look like there is a platform that lowers under the riders feet, like on Huss Giant Frisbees. Confirm or deny?
  13. ^Are there any other sites out there like this one?
  14. Mine was definitely at CP last summer. While queuing in the station for MF, a nice guy in the row in front of us turned around and struck up a conversation. He was wearing a SFStL Tony Hawk Big Spin T-Shirt, and went on to tell us about how he was on a coaster trip that started at their, and included Holiday World, SFKK, KI, and was ending at CP. We told him we (my mom and I) were on a similar trip that included Indiana Beach, KI, and CP. As we were on the train waiting for our lap bars to be checked, he started to ask us how many rides we had been on and then started to explain the differences between the different coasters at the park. When he got to what he called the big three (MXL-200, MF, and TTD), he went on to tell us that they were a mega, giga, and hyper, respectively. I then felt the need to correct him and tell him that no Magnum is considered a hyper, and that B&M are the ones that use the term mega to define their hypers, MF is indeed a giga, but TTD is what they call a strata. I couldn't tell if he believed me or not, but he did turn back around in his seat and that was the end of that slightly awkward conversation . Edit: Oops, was watching something else while I typed this.
  15. Finally saw two billboards the other day for the park. Neither advertisised B.S. (haha), but both were pretty cool looking, one with P. O. S. and the other with Rock Bottom Plunge. First one was on 35 Heading South in White Bear Lake, and the second was on 694 heading West just past White Bear Ave, by Maplewood Mall.
  16. ^Can't blame the park, for trying to get people in the gates, even if they do have to trick people a little. It's the guests own fault for not calling ahead.
  17. Whatever you have time for! Better to work on it when you have time, then to rush it to try to squeeze a part in here and there.
  18. Don't mean to sound like a nagger, but is there any update on this? It was looking great!!!
  19. I was just wondering if you had any pictures of the Park in the Snow, from this winter? To me that would be just beautiful.
  20. Each episode usually takes place at different places around the country, so I could definitely see him going to multiple parks, or other properties owned by HFG.
  21. Where do they rank against the Smoky Mountain courses?
  22. Good luck with your entire Mid-America tour, your going to have to haul some serious tail around some of those parks.
  23. ^^That whole picture is just gorgeous, but that castle is gonna get swallowed up when you add an Oblivion rival, . ^Very intriguing!
