  1. Saw Cedar Point changed their cover photo. I clicked on it to get a better look, and I'm glad I did! Otherwise I would have missed this little gem (click to see the text): "Where is this located?"
  2. Oh wow...that's downright cruel!
  3. If you go to your iPhone "Settings", then "Notifications", you should be able to go to "Tapped Out" and then select what notifications you want to appear. I was getting annoyed by the sounds interrupting my music (I have an iPod touch), so I turned the sounds off but kept the banners and badges on. If you don't want to see/hear the Springfield message anymore, try turning the banners and sounds off. Unless you've already done that, which in that case I'm not sure how to help you.
  4. Just accidentally spent 2 donuts to speed up the collection on one of my buildings. How did that happen, you ask? I was in the process of collecting from the characters and other buildings when I opened up the panel for one of my buildings (The Gilded Truffle). As my left thumb went to exit out of the panel, my right thumb was trying to collect from a character. Instead my right thumb hit the "speed up" button and my left thumb exited out of the panel. Before I could reopen the panel to cancel the action, it was too late and I lost 2 donuts! Obviously it's my fault for having butterfingers, but at the same time would it be that difficult for EA to add a confirmation screen that says something like "Are you sure you want to spend 2 donuts on this action?" with a "YES" or "CANCEL" option?!?! Oh wait, it's EA. I just answered my own question. /endrant
  5. I only went to SFMM last year, but I checked the receipt I was emailed after purchasing tickets. Keeping in mind that I didn't have my 2012 Six Flags season pass yet, I wasn't a Club TPR member (planning on changing that sometime though!), and that I didn't do the add-on dinner, the total came out to $55. Obviously it was slightly cheaper if you already had a Six Flags season pass and/or were a Club TPR member. I couldn't find a price from Knott's, but if I remember correctly it was around the same price. And you should be excited- WCB is AWESOME! I've been attending each year since the 2010 Bash and it's one of my favorite weekends of the year! Edit: Sorry if we're not supposed to discuss the price. I didn't see anything saying that it can't be mentioned, but I understand if it's an issue (such as not wanting members to compare/criticize pricing from year to year). I'm just trying to be helpful!
  6. I would hope so since it'll be in September! Something's wrong if they don't have it open by then!
  7. Haha I'm shocked! I never thought that "Comcast" and "good" would be used in the same sentence! But it's nice to see, and hopefully it continues!
  8. F***ing magnets, how do they work?!?!
  9. This is what I've been saying since it opened! It's an okay ride in my opinion, just way too short time-wise. It's definitely hard to justify waiting for it!
  10. I'm wondering this myself. You know there are going to be plenty of videos! Maybe Robb should do a POV video of YOLOcoaster, and instead of yelling out "TWISTY!" like with his I305 video, he can yell out "YOLO!" Now that would be hilarious!
  11. I was finally able to get into most of the Other Springfields! So I was finally able to give out valentines! It's still saying a couple of neighbors are using the old version of the game even though they've left me valentines in my Springfield, so there are still bugs, but it's a big step up from yesterday when I wasn't able to visit anyone!
  12. I agree- let's not forget that SFMM actually removed one of their log flumes (Log Jammer) to put in YOLOcoaster! I was impressed when Knott's announced that they were doing such a major refurbishment on Timber, especially considering that they're spending so much money on it to make it look good!
  13. Just downloaded the update and I also can't visit anyone even though I've already received 3 valentines from one of my neighbors. Hopefully this gets fixed soon! Edit: Has anyone else noticed that the app icon hasn't changed? It still shows Homer in his winter gear and snowflakes in the background! Not that this is a big deal, I just thought they would've updated it with hearts or changed it back to the original icon!
  14. I know I'm going to get a lot of crap for saying this, but I hope Boomerang stays for awhile. Yes, anything would be better than a Vekoma, but the Knott's version of Boomerang was the first Boomerang coaster I went on and it was one of my first looping/inverting coasters in general. So I'd hate to see it go just for sentimental reasons. I remember a day when I rode it probably about 20 times in one day! This was right after Xcelerator was built, and not only was it not open during that trip, but I likely would have chickened out anyway (the launch looked intimidating to me at the time!). Obviously there are a lot of Boomerang coasters out there (including a "new" one that was moved from SFOT to SFSL- still laughing over that! ), but the one at Knott's will always be special to me. Of course, my favorite Boomerang coaster is actually Deja Vu/Goliath- haven't ridden it since it got moved to SFNE, but I did get to ride it a few times while it was still at SFMM! As for the paint job, it'll be weird to see it completely green. I like the current purple and lime green colors, but I do really miss the original blue and teal! Just for fun I think it would be awesome if they had gone with Deja Vu's colors just to throw GPs off- "Hey, didn't this used to be at SFMM? YOLO!" Hopefully it'll get a new train though!
  15. LUCKY! My Mystery Box yesterday was a tree. I guess on the plus side it helps out my "tree-hugging" rating, but I'd much rather have 30 donuts!
  16. I saw it! Love what you did with the place!
  17. Yes, I do realize that this is the SFMM thread and not the KBF thread, but I couldn't help but point out that even Knott's has jumped on the YOLOtrain (or YOLOcoaster, if you will)! Photo credit goes to Knott's Network on facebook:
  18. Hope this doesn't happen to me! The part about her not liking coasters/theme parks, I mean. Relationship status changed from "in a relationship" to "single" faster than Full Throttle's launch!
  19. Go to TPR's events so that you can make sure that this doesn't happen to you! Where's the all-you-can-eat buffet?
  20. Anyone not ashamed to admit this? Also known as a Code V.
  21. No wonder the bag was so squishy! CRAP!
  22. This one was inspired by my cousin:
  23. I'll submit a few more if it's not too late: Flash Mountain!
