Hot damn. I'm really loving the looks of those. Great job - I especially love the machinery on the side panels. -

^If it's anything like the ejector air on Maverick's first airtime hill, they'll have a winner for sure. This just keeps looking better and better. Intamin ultra hotness is right. -
It's just Manny being Manny. No surprise here. He's been a basket case since Day 1 - it was only a matter of time before he got caught. It's just too bad for the Dodgers. They took a chance, knowing they were getting Manny and all of his BS, and gave him a shot. The LA fans loved him, and the organization did all they could for him. Then he goes and does something stupid and gets caught. I mean, seriously, how can he be that much of an idiot to take a chance with a steroid, knowing the league is cracking down on its drug policy? Stupid, stupid, stupid. I will not be surprised when the Dodgers dump him, nor will I disagree with it.

Rim Runner Leaving Las Vegas
DiSab replied to HEADCHEEZ's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I first read that last line I immediately thought of a B&M Floorless. That's the first thing I think of when I hear/read "dangling feet." But I doubt a B&M would fit in the Adventuredome. I've never been to Vegas, so I don't know, but how much open space is in there, if any? And how high up does the roof go? I wonder if a custom Vekoma Hang'n'Bang would be put in? I know it would likely be a smaller-sized ride, but you never know, right? Vekoma SLCs always seem to be the choice of smaller parks... I know that won't happen, but I'm just thinking 'out loud' here. -

I saw Guster at the University of Dayton Arena a few weeks ago. It was a great show - first time I had really heard a lot of their music, and I must say they're really good. I've been putting off writing a PTR for some time now, but it'll be up here soon, I promise.

Oh yeah, great pictures. Hoping to get there in the next few weeks.

Don't feel too bad about not being able to photograph Adventure Express. That thing is damn near impossible to take a picture of. -

Does newer also mean smoother? I'm guessing the invert side will have restraints similar to the new Great Nor'easter restraints - at least I hope. -

Hmm, red and blue non-B&M track... Perhaps a non-B&M Dueling Dragons? -

^^Well I fail... Fixed. ^Agreed, their Whip concept looks amazing. Hopefully a park will build one of those soon. -

^As far as I'm aware, most rides do include something saying prosthetics must be secured. -

That's really starting to take shape and looking good. Can't wait to see more of it as it progresses. -

I wonder if Universal is going to use that design for a Quiddich coaster (I think I remember one being announced, but I don't know for sure). A wooden invert looks like an awful idea - makes me think that one of their designers has been reading too much TPR! -
I usually drink a bottle of Gatorade when I work out. Powerade is just too syrupy for me.

That's what they look like. I wonder if they'll be more throughout the queue and ride? -

Very nice. The Kurve looks great, especially at night. I wonder if they'll do anything about the crappy Phantom transition, though...? -

DiSab replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That thing has a serious bump during the curve into the spike. I would say it might not be as bad if it was a smooth curve, but that looked like it was designed in RCT! -

Let's see, I'm stuck in a bus ride 30 feet off the ground. Nothing is falling off, nothing is on fire. We're just not moving anywhere. I think the best thing to do is throw her to the people down there who may or may not catch her. I'M A GENIUS!! -
Indeed they do. The All-Sports Bar and Grill (if I remember right). Best food in the park. The Midway Market is a buffet-style place, a good price for what you get. KI's Vortex is open. They simply repainted the rails, so it was up and running for Opening Day. I can't imagine they'll be doing any more that would affect it's running, so you should be good with that.
