  1. ^7/10, only because I can't cook.
  2. Rubber packaging peanut??
  3. Hmm... Methinks this might be why vertical chain lifts haven't appeared until the last few years. And why there aren't many rides with them.
  4. Maybe its just me, but on Page 5 of the update, it really looks like Chris is enjoying Canyon Blaster. So much so, he looks like he Jizzed In His Pants!
  5. Beautiful Day -- U2
  6. City of Blinding Lights -- U2
  7. The area around the pretzel loop is really coming along nicely. Looks fantastic.
  8. Looks awesome. That launch looks pretty good, especially considering how small the ride is. Is that first inversion coming off the top hat a dive loop or a zero-G? I can't tell from the video...
  9. Discotheque (New Mix) -- U2
  10. I agree with Bolliger&Mabillard, Firehawk's lift is just about the loudest thing I've ever heard. I used to think Flight of Fear was loud - now it pales in comparison to its neighbor.
  11. I don't know how many people on here are from the Dayton, OH, area or have heard of Spike, but we have a big event put on every year called Spike for Charity. A number of the fraternities and professional organization on the University of Dayton campus get together and compete in an all-day volleyball tournament. Throughout the few months prior to the event, all the fraternities work individually to raise money, and this money is used as the "pot" for the tournament. The team that wins the tournament donates a third of the total money raised to their fraternity's charity of choice. Another third goes to the charity of the fraternity that raised the most money for the event. The last third goes to the charity of the fraternity with the best overall participation in the event and the weeks before. If anyone is interested in donating money to this year's event, you can do so on our website - http://www.spikeforcharity.com/. Or, if you are currently attending college and want to start a similar event there, you can contact myself and I will help you as much as I can.
  12. Huh, I always have pronounced it phonetically. Guess I'm wrong.
  13. Dayton had an excellent game in the first round. A huge win for the program. Second round, though... That's a different story. But the season was still a lot of fun to watch, and I'm looking forward to next year.
  14. The Analog Kid (Live) -- Rush
  15. That's awesome. I haven't sen anyone famous, sadly. But I have to say, I do respect the celebs who don't ask for special treatment from the park, but would rather spend the day like any other guest by waiting in line.
  16. Absolutely amazing. This looks fantastic. Hopefully one park in the States will put one of these in within the next few years.
  17. That loop looks crazy. Can't wait to see this thing start testing.
  18. Chain Lightning -- Rush
  19. I've been collecting shot glasses recently. The collection is up to about 12 now.
  20. It can't really open early, since they are shooting for it to be ready by opening day. However, at the moment, looks like they are right on track to get this ride opened on time.
  21. I second that. With that maze of supports in there, going every which way, it had to be crazy trying to find a place of them.
  22. Hmm, sounds like they need to work a few more kinks out of Bench: The Ride before they mass-produce it for other parks.
  23. Hovering around the low 60s and cloudy and overcast in Dayton. It was nice yesterday, but not so much today. Could be worse - no rain in the forecast at the moment.
