Exile Vilify -- The National Just... amazing.

First with the Ovechkin crap, now about the refs. Jeezus, it never stops. My team hasn't won a playoff game in the 10 years they've been around. There are teams in much worse predicaments than the Caps. Back on track, I was shocked that the Kings blew that game. It was on Versus before I flipped to Conan, then I went to bed before checking again. I thought it was well over by then. Oh, how I was wrong.

It seems like some of us... rounder... individuals are having trouble with the newer B&Ms, which seems opposite of what I've come to expect from them. Myself, I'm not the skinniest of people out there, and have always had a larger backside (I like to tell myself I was built to play football or wrestle ), and was a little surprised that I was Walk of Shamed on Diamondback two summers ago (the lapbar got 2 clicks, but apparently it needs 3...?). Hopefully this doesn't become a growing theme with the newer B&M rides, as that would be severely disappointing. Nevertheless, great review and great pictures.

I was actually at Nick Universe about a year ago, on my way back from South Dakota. Sadly, I didn't get to ride anything since we only had about an hour there, and I didn't want to spend $20 for something I wasn't sure I'd be able to ride (due to being Fat Derek). Looking forward to more. PS - I can't tell which one is the cartoon character, there's too much pink.

I'll one-up you here and say that having oil fly into your eye is 1,000x worse than on the skin. Just sayin'. I have mild claustrophobia. It's nothing intense, like crowded elevators and such, but its more of the confined spaces where it's hard to move freely, there's not much room int he space, and you can't get out that easily. I have a hard time with that.

Wasn't exactly by myself, but my dad and I were the only ones on Mean Streak a few summers ago. It was close to closing time, and we were probably one of the last trains out that night, in the front row. To this day I am convinced that MS runs infinitely better during late-night (in the dark) runs with nearly-empty trains.

I certainly hope those hood ornaments are on there nice and snug-like. We wouldn't want them pulling a Dragster-wheel, would we?

If this place has the same executive team as the Paramount Parks in the US, I give it about 3 years tops. It seems like a big project, with a lot of recycled ideas. However, if they get a decent team to run the park, and add some originality to the rides (i.e., not boring like the old Paramount rides here are/were), it might work. Hopefully it will, but we'll just have to wait and see if it all pans out as planned.

Tame? Possibly. Fun? Hell yes! Anything with a new concept has to be taken slowly, but I have a feeling that this one will be fantastic. I can't wait to see what they'll do with that design in the future, once they know for sure how all the forces and whatnot play out. We can only imagine...

I'm holding onto my man-breasts as tight as I possibly can, but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up. I must know soon, or I may permanently lose feeling in my upper chest area...!!
