  1. I wouldn't bother putting Australia on your list just yet. Wait awhile... how likely is it you'd do it? There's not enough.
  2. Nice work! Quick couple of questions without wanting to derail: what are the main forums for RCT3 anyway? And weren't some people working on an unofficial RCT4?
  3. ... wow! You should do ride design in real life. Could you somehow patent the work on this ride and send it off to some companies?
  4. Hey, if it comes as far as the Gold Coast, that's good enough for Australians! It would be really great if it was located along the beachfront of Surfers Paradise. You DO have Luna Park. Ok, that's not going to be as good as an Astroland/Cyclone combo but the GC is a logical spot for a boardwalk park and we don't have one of those yet.
  5. Better be around May! I'm going there with my family - it's my enthusiast parents' wedding anniversary.
  6. CoasterTube is much better and I actually ran the question past a big bunch of friends of mine for you. So there.
  7. Cheers for all that guys ... One hour to the interview but will keep checking this thread on my iPhone (site works great on it btw Robb) just in case anything else gets posted.
  8. Hi. It's been a fair while "between drinks" [my posts on TPR] but thought you'd all be great for this. Tomorrow I have a group interview at a theme park for the position of ride op or slide op at its water park next door. It'll go for 2 and a half hours -- which is interesting, the longest interview I've ever had by a long stretch. Does anyone have some tips on some do's and don't's applying for such a position? What kinds of questions can I expect and how best can I answer? I'm dreading getting a question about what procedure to follow (like if a ride breaks down or something) and not having the complete information to answer it (isn't that what training is for?) I mean, I have common sense to draw from in my answer, but yeah. Really want this job!!
  9. It's good but not great. Have no idea where it's headed though so it's kind of disposable, like something I've heard before. Not to the same degree as most songs in its genre though so guess it stands out in that respect. ^ Hawhaw.
  10. The main single from Sneaky Sound System's new album '2' - Kansas City
  11. ^ I'm also guessing you like the Enter key. Australia's not a "poo-poo hole" but we need more theme parks. FEH. I have a DECENT boyfriend for once, can't get depressed right now!
  12. I listened to the band Jet today (great Aussie one!) and now I'm tired and going to bed. Does that count?? Do you have an evil monkey in your closet?
  13. ^^^ Nah. Never of us will be doing it. We're both Christians so wouldn't be doing anything like that before marriage. Religious ground aside, I totally agree but just praise Jesus I found this boy. There's been a TON of losers. And when I say we've just met, I mean, it's been about a month of shared classes and hanging out.
  14. Wow, that's horrible. Worse than the one for Die Another Day. Is that the officially confirmed theme and version of it? Blerggggggggggggh.
  15. I just met the hottest boy through my dance school. Not from ballet, all but three of them are gay & those ones are dorks. But from my contemporary and jazz classes. We had our first date last night and what did he do? Leads me to this bluff overlooking the ocean... moonlight shining down, full moon'n' all... and he has all this gorgeous food there he'd cooked. OMG. My heart melted. Last night some magic happened (at the risk of sounding cheesy) and it wasn't a plot to have sex either. We just snuggled under a blanket and looked at the waves/stars. Goes to show romance isn't dead, girls! There are some decent ones out there.
  16. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so cute! Lucy is a good name and I am VERY VERY jealous. If you ever have puppies, pop one in a box (with a straw so it can breathe) and post it to Australia. Cheers!
  17. No. I'm a despot. Do you ever go on nudie runs?
  18. ^ Seems more legendary/epic than the Complete Works of Tolkien < Does want some turkey now. Dammit. But I have a ballet recital tonight so it would probably wouldn't be the best thing to eat, LOL. v Will drop and give me ten push-ups then ten star jumps now! * * Or the splits for an hour would do.
  19. I too am in Australia but Hurricane/Maccaboy, let's organise what we could do. We have a few parks to source from. How about I take Movie World, Hurricane you could do Dreamworld and Maccaboy, you could send a lovely one of that lighthouse/Cape Byron since it's probably harder for you to come by a postcard from a theme park? Any other Australians could do Wet'n'Wild, Whitewater World, Luna Park Sydney/Melbourne or whatever... That way, she has some postcards in her collection from Aussie parks so it will kill two birds with the one stone. Sammi, you have a great daughter. While I'm not looking forward to the pain of pregnancy/childbirth when I eventually-in-the-not-too-near-future have a kid, I hope mine is as cute as yours!!!
  20. I really wish I could get there too. Looks amazin'. When is the neutering taking place? Must experience it if I can before that happens!!!!
  21. Haha. That update was even better than the last. Some of those captions had me burst out laughing and rather violently. Yeah, I want to check that restaurant out with those weird-as bathrooms, what's the name of it/location? Hope all these earthquakes and things going on in Asia won't affect you, there seems to be so much happening.
  22. Heh. I just have a tendency to babble and that was a boring time. Wish I was there. Eat some testicle for us, all you guys...
