  1. Oooh. Snazzy.... Posting this from a small local Show Not quite as good. Tango, Zipper, Huss Rainbow ride, Random dark ride, chairoplane, Matterhorn and a dual Swinging Ships ranger style ride are the highlights But will stop boring you all now. Enjoy the culture and can't wait for the reports... And yes I am hungry now LOL. Had I joined earlier I would have joined you. Oh well have fun and stay safe. xxx Luv, Kate
  2. Operator Please - Just A Song About Ping Pong ... CHECK IT OUT!
  3. People who are really loud when they talk and who cackle. Then, when you look at them with a 'WTF is wrong with you?' expression, they think YOU'RE the insane one. Girls at my ballet school who act like they're princesses/seasoned pros that know it all. People who cough without covering their mouth Runners in my new cross country team who don't use deoderant then hang by me during a race and/or come up to talk and lift their arms up. Guys, buy some spray. It's cheap and I won't feel like smacking you.
  4. Fall out of the tube my bf and I were in. Not the slide.
  5. First Tornado slide (at an Aussie water park) (oh and that's the one with the funnel shape)... SCARED me. the operator at the top made me go down backwards. and i got drenched as hell. Other than that there was an enclosed slide in darknessand I was so scared and pissed off cos I thought I was going to fall out to my death! LOL but most slides scrape up my back so i worry less about dying and more about scars.
  6. wow looks awesome! it's mad all the water and greenery too, better than concrete you guys and girls must have had a complete blast. why wasn't i invited? is it an expensive park to get to/do?
  7. Some of the clunkers at six flags America were akin to a boxing match ... thats the one park in the chain I have been to and boy, it's put me off going to others canadas' wonderland looks really nice tho lol i like that mountain, is it true there are divers off it? can the guests do that or just the performers? would be dangerous?
  8. From my only trip to the US, gotta say I love Quiznos and TGI Fridays. Here in Australia: * Subway * Hungry Jacks (our version of Burger King) * KFC Macca's is utter craaaap, anyone who eats that stuff is crazy
  9. Ballet's my #1 passion and I've started doing pointe work a few months ago. Enough said
  10. ^ I try not to be self-righteous but drugs make me sick. Anyone involved in dealing them should be given LONG jail sentences for the potential lives they could have destroyed/the ones they actually did. I was at a party a couple of years ago (only just turned 16 today too) and offered a joint which I took but had the sense to think "Bad idea, Kate" & give it back. That person has since been arrested & I think is serving time. She was the big sister of one of the other girls. I mean, fancy handing out drugs to 14-year-old girls... NOT COOL. >> On a different rant (but not to derail yours, Terrancew, why do family have to be so annoying? My little brother tries to best me in everything & we have ballet in common as a passion. What's worse though... well, a couple of examples: Stupidly and dangerously, sometimes if I'm stretching, he'll come and yank on a random body part so I end up faceplanting or worse. I once did an ankle before a recital because of that. The night before another one, when I was asleep, he snuck into my room with Dad's clippers and swiped at my head...fortunately it had a #4 blade and it was the back of my head so it wasn't too bad when we had to go to the hairdressers the next day to repair my cut. That goes behind competitive into 'ship your butt to military school' type territory but Dad won't do anything to punish him, just laughs stupidly Stupid parent. On that second occasion, Mum just confiscated his icecream (ooh! MAJOR punishment. not) but he gets a ridiculous amount of pocket money so he just replaced it the next day and mooned me. Wow, I could create my own sitcom out of the losers in my family. Oh and Mum, she is Legally Blond. She has a Chihuahua too. Oh god, I hate that thing it's so spoiled. Anyone want to exchange families?
  11. ^ Maths is awful and always gives me headaches... but meditating and yoga are two of my hobbies. So to my family's amusement, if I've done homework for that or other horrible subject, they often walk in and I'll be in some ridiculous position bordering on contortion or trying to destress in the lotus position contemplating my naval, LOL. Maybe you should try that, CTU Agent.
  12. Here, the school calendar runs February-December... I do the following subjects: - English - Maths B - Religion - Drama - Physical Education - Ancient History - French No Sciences, so that keeps me sane. My French is just above average & being a ballerina, any time I don't know the answer on an exam I just write down a term like battement tendu, chassé, fondu (nothing to do with cheese!) or something haha! In terms of extra-curricular/school sports, I do cross country/athletics, basketball and soccer, which means I spend most of my time in ballet shoes, spikes or boots! TV sucks too much anyway.
  13. Hola, dudes and dudettes out there in TPR Land! ... My name's Kate. I'm 16... sweet sixteen as they say... literally today. I'm from a beachy suburb on the eastern coastline of Down Under & in this timezone it's just become my birthday. We don't have many parks or coasters here but I joined because I want to plan an overseas trip sometime. But that'll be awhile yet (in second-last year of school). Well from my nickname and avatar you can probably guess my major hobby lol... ballet. It's awesome and I've been doing it for about three years now. Strangely enough I came to start it because my little brother Michael gave it a go and liked it more than anything else physical he'd done but needed someone to do it with for his confidence. So now we're both into it. It's a competitive thing between us but we're pretty equal. Guy ballet dancers get a hard time but I find them awesome and hot as hell. Michael's younger by only two minutes though (but I still give him a hard time as is the right of a 'big' sister, haha). Ahh what else... horses! Mum's sister has a property in the country which is pretty close & I go out there a lot with friends from school. Pleasingly, riding is something Michael sucks at. I don't have any other brothers or sisters. My parents live apart which is kind of hard but they are pretty good friends still which is better than nothing. Er... I also have a spiritual side... yoga, meditating and all that kind of thing. Aside from a really ultramegacrappy Six Flags park ('America' in Maryland), I've only been to the parks in Australia and miss Sydney's Wonderland to death We need some woodies here badly. Don't know what my coaster count is but it's low. I try to get to carnivals to experience some different rides, there are a few around each year. Now I am going to hit bed so I'm not a zombie for my birthday. Catch you all soon and looking forward to being part of this site!
