  1. The supports for an Arrow cutback are on that side. I used the cutback (the only cutback ever made I think) on Drachen Fire as reference. history.amusement-parks.com/Drachen%20Fire/drachenfire2.jpg The vertical Gs in the cutback are: Entrance: +3.5 Top: +0.6 Exit: +2.5 I have no idea if that's the way it should be but it seems fine I think.
  2. Hows this? I made the width smaller and raised it a bit. To get enough speed I raised the brake block a bit.
  3. The Gs are fine but there is a bit of hangtime. I'll play around with it and see what I can do. It has to be sort of low though since I don't have a whole lot of speed at that point, which is why I made the track dip down into a ravine before going into it.
  4. A space shot or turbo drop tower.
  5. Here's my idea for the park! (Forgot the 's' in largest btw) lol
  6. I fixed up some areas, worked on terrain a little and took out the final corkscrew. Here's the new sections: In place of the corkscrew is a turn that heads under the first corkscrew. The train dives into a ravine, into a turn... ...and then heads into a cutback over a section of track that leads from the station to the lift. I still have some more track bending to do before I start support building again.
  7. It really does look like one of those Japanese coasters. I always like how they have the catwalk running the whole length of the ride.
  8. It's been quite some time since I've built a No Limits coaster. My last upload to Coaster Crazy was on 09/21/2007 with a wooden track called Seedy Point Roller. My last steel track was uploaded on 04/03/2005! In lieu of not building a steel coaster for years now, I decided to build New Age Retro Looper. Let's say that Arrow Dynamics never went out of business; how would a 2008 Arrow megalooper look? That's what I tried to do with this track. I'm still going around and smoothing different sections out, but the layout is pretty much set. I'm thinking about switching out a corkscrew with a 'cutback' however. Going up the lift and coming off the block brake. A tight but incredibly tall Arrow style loop. Interlocking corkscrews. They tried it on Drachen Fire! A bowtie, no megalooper is complete without one.
  9. 1. New Jersey (home) 2. New York 3. Pennsylvania 4. Virginia 6. North Carolina 5. South Carolina 6. Florida 7. California 8. Arizona 9. Nevada 10. Maryland
  10. You should have put it out in his frickin' eye with wreckless abandon. lol
  11. I think it was Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great Adventure Here's a picture I took of it just before my camera died. I even got Nitro's train a little bit!
  12. Two slices of pepperoni pizza $5.00
  13. Haha that thing is cool. It kind of reminds me of the Tivoli manufactured 'Force 10' in appearence. However the Force 10 is more like an insanely fast Enterprise that can spin the wheel horozontal while in the air, much like a Chance 'Chaos.' You can't spin the cars or anything though. Here's a video I found of the Force 10.
  14. ^ Ok, you've piqued my interest; I want to see this Wildstorm ride now.
  15. What the heck? I thought that the Hang Ten flatride was made by SDC!
  16. I like the ambient noise as well as opposed to commentary. Like DenDen said above, some of the people sound really dumb! I always remember those Discovery Channel coaster shows. Half the time the person would be like "oooohhh! heres the high G helix!! The best par...uuuuwaaaahhahhahahaaaaaaaahhhhgggggggh -art!!!!!!!!!!!"
  17. I would crap myself, scream like a little girl, and then faint if I saw that edging towards me...
  18. Oh that's awesome! I remember Gary's pictoral history book; I used to check it out at the library all the time when I was younger!
  19. Oh my god, the Phillies won... I think hell just froze over...
  20. I didn't even realize it was only 4 riders...even though it's in the first sentence looking back . Maybe if they worked at it for a while lol. However a full trainload most likely could have.
  21. I wonder if the riders could have leaned forwards and backwards in unison and gotten the train to start rolling again by shifting the load. That would have been a site to see lol.
  22. Nice TR! I really need to get myself over to Germany next year and go to one of these fairs. For a flatride lover like myself, it would be heaven. lol Also, I remember seeing a video of one of those Inversion rides when the seats were unlocked; the way they would snap and spin looked really viscious!
  23. I always liked it in RCT 1 and 2 when you would get the random "mechanic # has drowned!" message. What, did they not like the job and drown themsleves, or did a peep push them in? lol
  24. For a second I thought this was about Coney Island, NY as well. I was like "what?! They smashed the log flume and they're adding a ride?! What?!" lol
