  1. I started this project a few weeks ago and I think it's safe to say that I might actually finish this one. In the past, I've posted work in progress topics at other forums and either lost interest or didn't have the time to finish, but this one is about 70% done! This is a mountain waterpark with a...well, a mountain theme. I've seen many RCT3 waterparks with 250 foot tall slides that launch peeps into a 1x1 spash pool, some of those parks may have been my own creations, so I'm trying to go realistic with this one! Here's the progess so far: The entire waterpark as it is right now. I'll probably add a few more slides to the back of the mountain in the center. Here's a mat slide with some steep drops. Trees and theming has yet to be placed. Another mat slide with two speed slides to the right of it. Trees have yet to be planted. A couple of tube slides that sort of race each other. They end up going pretty fast towards the end yet only have a 3 excitement. A waterpark just isn't a waterpark without a vertical speed slide. This one stands at 135 feet I think. Peeps rocket up to 60+mph; wedgie-city. Can't see it too well but it's one of those raft slides with the water blast sections. Finally, this is a big raft slide that goes down the side the mountain and through a cave towards the end. I plan on making another one of these slides as well. Something I still have to work on are buildings...which I hate doing!
  2. I'm a little afraid of speed slides that use a mat now ever since I jammed my arm really badly coming into the spash pool on one. I'm sure I'll ride one again though; it's hard to pass up the airtime those slides give during the large drops they typically have. Another one that scares me a bit is the Cannonball at Mountain Creek in NJ. It's this pitch black speed slide that winds down a hill and dumps you out some 10 feet above the pool. The pool is made from a natural ravine, is cold as heck, and is about 25 feet deep. I think the pool might be scarier. lol
  3. Holy crap! Carl Pavano actually got a win? I thought his arm would fall off during the first pitch or something.
  4. Great White at Morey's Piers. The train was flying that night as well!
  5. Rolling Thunder at SFGAdv; ususally during one of the awful series of bumps that the train seems to traverse. Also, on Huss Top Spins there's this bump in the middle of the seat that I'll crotch myself on sometimes. Stupid seats...
  6. IOA: Incredible Hulk GADV: Great American Scream Machine Medusa Dorney: Hydra: The Revenge All have seven.
  7. One of the worst, or at least the worst replacement, is Star Jet at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ. It's this Miller made steel coaster that has an OK drop and a nice view of the ocean...but that's it. The ride is rough, the turns are awful, and the layout is complete garbage. The worst part is that they actually had the stones to name it Star Jet, after the awesome Schwarzkopf Jet Star that used to reside in its place!
  8. Coasters, for the most part, I'm fine on. Although a night ride on El Toro in the backseat left me with a two day headache once. What I've noticed more is that I can't seem to take spinning flatrides nearly as much as I used to. I used to be able to chain Gravitron rides, but now once is enough. I went on a ride at the NJ State Fair called Storm, and afterwards I thought I was going to pass out (then again it was hot and I didn't eat much.) However the one ride I cannot ride anymore at all is the swinging ship; I will get nauseous no matter what the circumstances are. I used to be fine on those things! Interestingly enough, I don't get nearly as nausous on the looping versions. lol
  9. Very nice TR! I love carnivals but I don't think I can call myself a real carnival fan until I go to one of those massive European funfairs! BTW, that 'lame' ride actually looks pretty nauseating!
  10. Looks like something they would have had at the old Action Park in NJ.
  11. I can't take two rides in a row on Rolling Thunder at SFGAdv; it's rough as heck and the line moves insanely slow...but it's kind of fun. However I can take two consecutive rides on the Coney Island Cyclone which is just as, if not even more rough. lol
