  1. I just posted reviews and ratings for Silverwood and the Puyallup Fair! It works well, but I think there should be more room to type text. 500 isn't quite enough to get a full review, IMO.
  2. That photo is seriously epic! I hope SFMM does that more often, especially for Fright Fest!... or maybe it could stay a WCB exclusive and I can just go and experience it sometime.
  3. Texas Giant looks awseome now! The airtime and smoothness that come with the new track are definitely welcome. I hope I can go on it once I return to America!
  4. Awesome report! I visited NYC in November, and it was such an amazing city! I can remember it now... I visited a few of the places you did, but I wasn't able to make it to a museum or any of the restaurants mentioned in the report. I wish I would've known of the pizza tour's existance; I'd be all over that. Once again, great report!
  5. I'm flying out to Naples on Tuesday. My big Florida vacation is done, I've had my fun, I've said goodbye... I'm ready!!
  6. I just sent mine.... *Hopes for Roller Coasters in the RAW! DVD*
  7. These look like cool little parks! I'll download one as soon as my computer is in Italy.
  8. This park is alright, but it could be a little better in terms of the timeline.... But a park with an S&S Sky Sling and an Intamin Parachute Drop is total win, so keep up the win!
  9. I hate how people have to complain about these restraints... Maybe I haven't been on enough Intamin coasters with the restraints and am too tall to be affected by them, but I've never had a problem with them. They were pretty comfortable when I rode Maverick. I had a lot of fun when I visited BGT on Valentines Day! The park has certainly improved since the last time I was there. Gwazi's new trains are great, it's so much smoother now! I wish I would've been able to ride Lion that day, though, it was closed. Overall, the rides and animals are still great, and I can't wait for Cheetah Hunt to open!
  10. For RCT2, I found this tutorial on track merging on CF, and I think it's useful. www.coasterforce.com/RCT_2_Hacking_and_Trainers_-_Track_Merging You need to have 8cars in order to use it, but if you have it and know how to use it, it's very helpful in learning how to merge tracks.
  11. Rip Ride Rock'it! It was an awesome last ride here in America bedore moving to Italy.... Next stop, Mirabalandia!
  12. I'm glad it's so much better! S:TE always seemed like a ride that had never reached its full potential, but now it's looking a lot better!
  13. It's been a while since I've checked on SFSC, and the progress is awesome! I like Firebomb (being the S&S fanboy); too bad its reliability is getting in the way of things. I'll definitely keep watching this park. Hope to see more soon.
  14. It's too bad that it won't be open while I'm there, but it looks like a great coaster so far! I can't wait to get some good pics of it when I'm there ina bout a week or two!
  15. I like the look of it! I'm excited to be moving to Italy so I can check it out! As others have said, I'm thinking it's going to be smoother and more reliable than X2, as well as more comfortable to ride. But I'm also betting that, based on the layout, it'll be more intense and maybe even more exciting than X2. I guess we'll know once it's open.
  16. I knew it would be falcon themed! I love the way it looks! I'm no good with using CTRs or Cs, but I really feel inspired to try just because I want to try to make a good park like this.... but I'm sure I could never do it.
  17. This is interesting news, but I'm sure it will be sent to a park that needs it more. Hopefully a much better ride will replace it; I think it could use either a really good flat ride or a decent small coaster. Of the parks it could be sent to, I agree with greatamerica1990sfan. Valleyfair seems like the most likely place for it to go since it's mentioned a new coaster already, unlike the other properties.
  18. Speaking of that.... how many videos do you upload every day?
  19. I have a few developed Magic Mountain pictures from 2005... It's funny, they're only from a year before and they look even older! Great photos! It's amazing to see how much SFMM has changed in such a short time period.
  20. Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I found this article on LA Times that contains a POV shot on Superman: Escape from Krypton! www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/la-trb-six-flags-magic-mountain-roller-coasters-01201117,0,5604411.story
  21. I love drops! I have a bunch of favorites. Steel: Millennium Force Goliath X2 Sheikra Aftershock Wood: Tremors Colossus Mean Streak (despite the crappiness of the ride as a whole ) Drop towers: Panic Plunge Drop Tower (CGA) Supreme Scream
  22. This sounds cool! I can't wait for it to get up and running!
  23. ^Ok, I revised the post. Thanks for pointing that out! Sorry about the misunderstanding.
  24. Timberhawk: Ride of Prey. Smooth and fast in the front, airtime and some lateral force on the back.
  25. Six Flags Online's Facebook page is looking for people who have photos of various Six Flags parks. They're making a new website, and they want people with good photos to send them to photos@sixflagsonline.com. If you're a TPR member who's taken a few good photos at a Six Flags park recently, this would be a great opportunity to send them in and get some credit! Send an e-mail with your name, the name of the park that the photos were taken at/in, and the area they were taken in (as well as a short description of the photos and what's in them), and Six Flags Online may use them with their new website! And they promise to give you credit for your photos, too. I think any TPR member who has a great photo of a Six Flags park should take this opportunity to send your photos in and get some recognition! Patrick C. SFE
