You're right, I just noticed in the video that it has 2 for the 1st row and then 4 for the rest of the rows. I'm sure that'll negatively affect the wait time for the front (or back?), since the front row seemed to have longer lines than any other rows and had only 3 seats. And is it just me, or does the car appear to be testing forwards in the new video? EDIT: My eyes decieve me! Yeah, it's definitely testing backwards. Nevermind.

I got my Bag-O-Crap today! Hmmm... Yet another package from Valencia, California! Rip Rip Rip! Mouse Trap: Memoir of a Disneyland Cast Member 1987-2002. Looks interesting! I'll read it on the plane ride to Italy! Maps and a 2009 TPR West Coast Tour group photo. Nice! Coca Cola can holder. Useful for my weekly can of Coke, for sure! Park guides FTW! TPR Minty Mints, and a pen (not pictured)! Legoland California operating schedule and a Kennywood 'This-a-way' postcard. ZOMG!! STICKERZZ!!!! And... what's this? Burnt copy of.... *Inserts into DVD drive of PC* Oh, Coaster Expedition 7. Exclusive! This isn't even being made anymore, is it? Thanks Robb and Elissa for my Bag-O-Crap! I'll definitely make sure I participate in TPR Facebook games!... and leave good comments for TPR orders.

I don't like the new preshow very much. The older one was decent, but the new one... I just think it's kinda cheesy. Maybe it would be a better idea to just convert the room so that it has the preshows playing, but you're not forced to wait and watch them all? Like a 'pre-ride introduction' that you're not forced to watched but can serve as entertainment as you wait in line? IMO, that would keep trains from being half-empty yet allow for the show to stay.

Great update, Robb! I'm suprised by the amount of unused space at SFMM at this point; there used to be so many old rides and attractions sitting and taking up space, and now that many are gone, it makes parts of the park seem slightly empty. The new coasters should fill up some space, but still... a lot of attractions could be added. Today's update certainly shows this. SF's recent loss of several trademark rights also seems to be taking its impact on the park. I can clearly remember when I was at Terminator's opening day, and I really liked the name and theme. But the new name feels kinda cheesy like Flight Deck at CGA: just a quickly made name due to changes in copyrights. The inevitable loss of Johnny Rocket's is kinda sad too, considering I really like their burgers. One little request: if you can get a good picture of Thrill Shot for me next time you're at SFMM, I'd really appreciate it.

I'd hope for a Sky Swat... but that's just me. Vulture is probably going, so I'll go with the B&M Flyer replacement rumor, too. EDIT: Wow, I just got interrupted... BY THE NEWS! So yep, my assumption would be right... Although it isn't very good anymore, it's too bad another Arrow swinger has to leave a park.

Intamin 12-Inversion coaster
Six Flags Enthuseast replied to chickenbowl's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agree somewhat with you. I think all of the inversions are amazing, and that would be a really cool coaster to see, but airtime doesn't seem to be very plentiful on this ride. If it had a couple decent airtime hills, it would be better, but I still think this is an amazing looking ride! So, to answer the question at the beginning, yes, I think it'd be fun! -
Happy New Year everybody! 2010 was one heck of a year, but I'm sure 2011 will be even better! In 2011, I'm looking forward to: -Moving to Naples, Italy -Visiting my grandparents in Virginia and a few Florida parks (and the Daytona 500) in February -Possibly visiting Washington, D.C. -Going to a couple good Italian theme parks (especially Gardaland and Mirabalandia) -Making new friends -A TPR event, although I'm not sure which one(s) I have a lot I look forward to, and there's probably a few suprises in store for me and my family, so I definitely have high hopes for 2011!

I honestly think the speed of the development of new technologies in the industry in general was the greatest achievement. It's amazing how, as mentioned right from the start, the 300ft and 400ft barriers were smashed within a couple years of each other. Along with this, I was impressed with the much more powerful and efficient launch, chain lift, and cable lift systems developed by various companies.
