  6. Hey Thanks ghost!! I don't even remember these moments, so I don't know the name of this Coaster!!! Wish I did!! Thanks Jason!!! I do know we visited AstroWorld at some given point. It's got to be it! Thanks for the link, that was a cute and funny video!! Hey six flags!!! Thanks, I had fun digging up these old photos. I just asked my dad and he confirmed with what my mom said. He says we rode the smaller rides and coasters at my home park. There was a coaster called The Little Dipper, I vaguely remember it. I know it's allowed if the parent rides with the child. I'm wondering how old KidTums is in the photo of her ride on Leap the Dips?
  7. Hey everybody!!! Thanks for checking out my Crazy Summer Trip Report! krazekidd were gonna have to hang out! Well, A few months ago I was looking through my parents photo albums that we have at home. My whole family is into Parks. My mom says my first ride on a coaster was at the age of two, which was at our home park Western Playland here in El Paso. In looking back, the first coaster that I actually remember, was the Matterhorn at Disneyland, Ca. I would have to say that I am very thankful and grateful to my parents for giving myself and my brothers the opportunity to experience such elements at a very young age. My first major parks were Disneyland, Ca. Magic Mountain and the now defunct Marineland, Ca. I would like to share a few photos with you of my childhood. I know that this is proof of the coaster and park enthusiast in me. My brother Daniel is also in these photos. He later went on to work at Walt Disney World through the Disney College Program. Me well, I'm just a Coaster Junkie!!! Hope you enjoy!!!! So this is Disneyland 1983 Me and Pluto! Here's myself and my brother, Daniel!! Crazy little kids already!! Here we are again! That guy up the corner wearing his Awesome Ozzy T-Shirt is my brother Robert. Plus some random child. The must have Castle shot!! Me, Daniel, and my Mom!! So I found this photo, but I have no idea, where we are. Can any one help? Oh, that's just some random lady that got in our picture! The last photo I have. Proof! This is me at four years old. My brother is in the back row. He was 6! True Proof! Hope you guys enjoyed a little blast from the past of my life!!
  8. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!! Thank you so much Adam, these are great Photos of Manta! My brother lives in Orlando, so I'm planning on getting there this summer to ride Manta and Rock It. My hat goes off to Sea World, if all goes as planned, this will be a top attraction added to Orlando's already existing list of Amazing experiences and Memories!! Thanks again!!
  9. Nothing much was missed! The show was pretty much over after that. At the end I couldn't help but notice the shots of mountains in the back! They really are very beautiful. In 06 I went to Hawaii and saw these mountains in person! Amazing!!
  10. Jack Rabbit---Seabreeze Good Times
  11. Wow, when I saw this topic I was going to immediately post the exact same thing. Hahaha And you took the thoughts right out of my mind.!! HA! Of all the rides I've been on I would have to say that Disaster Transport wins for the least amount of effort to create adequate theming. I walked out of that ride and said, "Crap"!! It was fun though and a credit! I give it an E for effort.
  12. Leap the Dips!!! Lakemont!
  13. Dahlonega Mine Train ---SF Georgia

  17. Yes, these lake flies can be quite nasty in the early part of the season on the point. If you are a screamer on coasters, I would recommend covering your mouth before you scream, especially near dusk when they really seem to come out! Definitely plan on bringing a windbreaker and a sweater and I would not count on doing Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon, or Soak City! Haha, This is so true!! On my first ride on Dragster I was riding front row and screamin like a Mofo!! One those bugs flew into my mouth and I actually ate the darn thing! I got off and said,"I think I just ate a bug". Someone overheard and said, "It happens"! How funny! I also planned on Soak City, but it was too cold for me to get wet!
  18. For all U2 FAns!! U2's newest single, Released today!! Get On Your Boots!! http://goyb.u2.com/ Nagro I've been meaning to tell you... Your avatar is funny dude!!
  19. Great Pictures! I really enjoy you reports Jason! Your report is a prelude to my San Antonio trip. I'll be there Feb. 11-15 for the Texas Music Educators Convention. I'm getting really excited for my trip. The convention is the biggest music convention and it's so much fun! Like having Hurricanes at O'Brians! Good Times!!! Oh by way I'm one of those who loves the historical stuff. Thanks for sharing!!
  20. From what I've read on www.thepointol.com school gets out between May 31st and June 6. It also says that crowds are moderate to light during the dates you are going. I'd definitely say it's a good time to go. I went to CP this past summer, June 16-20 and crowds were very light. Maverick, Millennium, Dragster, and Disaster Transport all had between 30 mins. to an hour wait. Raptors line got long also, but I waited till the evening and it was a 20 min. wait. All other rides were walk ons. Get there early and/or leave late and you'll be fine. The weather was unexpected for me, I'm coming from Texas as well. It was chilly at night and very nice during the day when the sun was out. When the storm clouds rolled in for us it was cold. Take a sweatshirt or windbreaker. It is pretty chilly up there on Dragster and Millie. Well hope this helps. Have fun!!!
  21. Just found this thread... and wanted to say that I really enjoyed your pics Chris!! Loved shot # 24 . Very Nice! Thanks for sharing!!
  22. I put gas today at $1.76 Prices are slowing rising in my area.
  23. Toro's Drop is Amazing!! X2 is unbelievable!!! My most memorable drop of all time to date is Millennium Force! My first ride was second to last row, left side. Incredible!!
  24. Hey Natalie, I loved your pictures!! Reminded me of a day when my brother and I went to IoA. It was a day just like yours. Hardly any people and it started off great. We had a tradition at IoA where we would share a few rounds at the Enchanted Oak Tavern, then go and ride Fire and Ice. Well when we went into the Tavern it was sunny and fine, but when we got out it was dark and stormy. Storm Clouds just like yours were very close and we couldn't ride. We made it to the car just before it started pouring! Gotta Love that Florida Weather!!!
  25. Morrissey Tickets Going on Sale in two weeks!!! U2's first single will be released next week!! Happy Indeed!!
