  1. Just signed up for Club TPR!!! The benefits already pay for the membership itself, for all the parks I'd like to visit this summer!! I'm happy to be a part of Club TPR!!!! I'll be sending out my check tomorrow!
  2. Ooooo. We can make a trip to Busch Gardens as well! HHeeyyy!! I'm all for it! Iv'e never been to BGW nor KD! So that would be Awesome!!! Plus I's get to see you!!
  3. OMG!!! Watching this video.... I might just have to change my summer plans!! Good thing I haven't booked anything! I had a dream about Behemoth the other night. I305 might just cure my Fix! I'm already planning distance, hotels, flights out of Richmond... Agh... I want to ride Great Footage!! Got me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside!!! Thank You!!
  4. I'm really looking forward to this. I'll be the area this summer and I'm excited to see how Coney Island will look after all this is done. Sounds very promising!!
  5. Hey Thanks guys!! This is why I love TPR!! ^I would have never known about Hershey. And Definitely I'm up for a Cheesteak. Last time I was in Philly for the Behemoth trip I ate at Pat's now it's time for Geno's!! I've been looking on Expedia for rates, we'll see what I can find. Thanks Larry!!! ^^Thanks Robb!! I would have loved to hit up Kennywood or maybe even Ravine Flyer but just doesn't seem feasible with time and money. Gotta have limits. ^^^ Hey Benny!! How are you friend?? Thanks for the tip I'll be looking into pricing and distance. Been wishing we could share another Fat Tire!! I'll tell Adam you said Hi. When I meet him, I'll say "I have a friend and he looks just like you!!" HAha! This sounds like the plan. Hershey, Dorney then Knoebels!! Just a thought.... Think Flying Turns will be ready?? Ha! Thanks again guys!!!
  6. I just needed to say this is funny as heck!! Good Times...
  7. Hey everybody! Hope everyone's doing great in TPR Land!! So here's the situation. This summer I'll be traveling to see U2 from Miami to Philly to NJ. The Philly show is on July 12 and the Jersey show is July 19. So I have all this time in between and what's a Coaster Enthusiast to do with all this time. Well..... Go RIDE. So here's my thinking, I'll be hanging with a friend and we'll probably need some down time after the show on July 12. I'm thinking, get a rental out of Philly sometime noon and head out July 13. We'll have to be back on July 18 to get ready for U2 on the 19. Here's where I'm looking for the best possible way to go about this. I'd like to visit Dorney, Knoebels, and Hershey!! With the lay out of distances between parks, from Philly, which park should I hit first, second, third?? Any suggestions for the best hotels in rates and location? Would any of the parks need a two day pass? I'm curious as to how these parks were hit on the East Coast Trip. I've been trying to figure out how I can go about this madness. Any help is appreciated, because as the months go by I feel I need a plan. Thanks guys! Roxanne
  8. Just wanted to post my YES vote! I'm already happy to feel a part of Theme Park Review and with TPR becoming a volunteer paid membership, for me, it gives TPR a more valid name to the Enthusiast Group or Club, Rather than just a website. TPR stopped being just a website I visited online back in 08 and I don't see that changing. I think this is a good step forward for Theme Park Review, Robb and Elissa, and us, the members!! I will gladly pay to be a part of Club TPR!!!
  9. Great Updates!! Love the videos and I am officially going through TPR withdrawals ! I've been smiling all night checking out this thread!! Mini doughnuts, mmmm!!! My mouth literally watered at this moment and still is as I type!! Thank You!! Miss You!!! Congrats to Hanno for his Awesome Photography!!! Hi Hanno!! Also Congrats to Robb and Elissa for Pro Shot Videos being showcased and for Awesome reporting for all us Coaster Geeks and Enthusiasts to enjoy!!
  10. Found this Awesome video while checking up on one of my favorite bands/artists, Si*Se! Si*Se is a mix of electronic, soul and latin rythms. Out of New York. I love the strings and beats! This video is now one of my favorite. I remember taking the D Train out to Coney Island and arriving on those very streets! The Subway, Nathans Hot Dogs, the Boardwalk (where I enjoyed a Brooklyn Lager), The Cyclone and The Wonder Wheel. What Amazing memories! If youre intrested in more Si*Se check out: http://www.myspace.com/sise http://www.sisenyc.com/home.html Enjoy!! This one's for all my TPR peeps!! Ride On, Ride On!!!
  11. Extreme Terror Rides: Mega Speed on again!! Travel Channel On right now, mountain time!! Just wanted to add to the Congrats on TPR footage on Travel Channel!! Thanks for posting those! It was a trip down cartoon lane for me!! My favorite's are Muttely, Quick Draw McGraw, and of course Yogi!! And now at this time I would like to present the Most Great and Awesome Park Award! On this TPR Summer of 2009 I hereby present this Award to Six Flags Magic Mountain!! From beginning to end Magic Mountain did not disappoint! I Love Magic Mountain!! Love the shots of the museum! I was a little sad going through though, because my brother actually had one of the Magic Mountain Pendants and one of those classic Troll t-shirts! However I was young and now I have no idea what happened to that stuff.... Did I mention I LOVE Magic Mountain!! In the words of Jay Thomas himself "Spread the word out there about us, tell everyone you can, So that more people come and then we can make this park even better than it already is!!" Look foward to more!!
