If you have photos of a non-kiddie ride that is not in TPR's Park Index, please submit that also. The list of what we need is not complete, only based on rides that appear on my personal park maps. High quality photos, please (not blurry, distorted or out of focus).
  3. It will only be your last ride of the day if you have motion sickness and are stupid enough to ride. If you get sick from spinning rides and you decide to ride a coaster that you fear will make you sick, then you deserve to have it be your last coaster of the day. Are you also going to come to the defense of people with vertigo that can't enjoys ride with height? Are you also against the animal exhibits that people with animal phobias can visit? How about the park serving food items that diabetics and those with food allergies can't enjoy? How about the people coulrophobia, kinemortophobia or sanguivoriphobia who could be traumatized during HalloScream?
  4. I think I've mentioned Nights in White Satin previously in this thread, but Myrtle Beach Pavilion also had a another very good dark ride in their Haunted House.
  5. I have not watched an inning of MLB this season. Every year I have less interest in watching professional baseball
  6. RMC has stated there is no Six Flags exclusivity
  7. Lake Compounce has an after 5PM price, check their website to see if it is within your budget. Quassy is pay per ride and worth a stop just to ride Wooden Warrior, I think parking is only about $5. At Knoebels, you always have the option to pay per ride
  8. Elissa looks quite terrified in some of those pictures.
  9. The ride HAD its good years and its bad years. It has been a while since the good years
  10. It's one of the lesser known parks. The only people I've meet who know about it are coaster enthusiasts and people who have it as their homepark/went there on vactation. Your comment describes every Six Flags park except maybe SFGAdv and SFMM
  11. Well that would be interesting (and great for LaRonde).
  12. Are you sure? I was under the impression that the whole lot from the stadium to West 15th was owned by NYC but they only leased the footprint under Thunderbolt to Central Amusement. I honestly don't know and would love clarification on the ownership of this parcel of land
  13. What are the remaining BAFF days at SFGAdv. Since I pass from SFNE, I can not access the SFGAdv season pass benefits
  14. If you are visiting WTC1, do not waste your time going to the top of the Empire State building also. Other NYC things to visit: While there is a charge to take the ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, you can't also take the Staten Island Ferry through New York harbor and get views of the Statue of Liberty. It is suggested that you avoid leaving Manhattan between 4PM - 6PM as the ferry boats are crowded with commuters during Rush Hour. Greenacre Park High Line Fraunces Tavern Federal Reserve Bank Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge Bronx Zoo Walk around and explore Grand Central Station (just not during Rush Hour) Of course there are dozens of museums, some small one some are huge here is a link to some of the smaller ones that are free http://www.ny.com/museums/free.html are with suggested admission If you are going to visit multiple big museum and tourist attractions investigate the CityPass http://www.citypass.com/new-york If you have specific interests this website gives interesting itineraries http://www.nycgo.com/itineraries
  15. I have added the link, thank you for pointing that out.
  16. Depends on the school district in New Jersey, some public school go into the next week, some have half days through June 19th. New York City public schools are still in session
  17. That cycle is a lot tamer than the cycle they run at Wiener Prater
  18. Only moderators can create Park Discussion Threads, please do not start these threads we have criteria we follow before starting Park Discussion Threads.
  19. Let me re-phrase what Adam said. We don't create Park Discussion threads because someone wants a place to discuss the park. We create them in an organic manner. When enough news stories have been posted on TPR over the years (whether this be articles on new rides, ride removals, accidents at the park) a moderator will merge the threads together to create a thread. Over the years there have not a lot of people posting about changes to DelGrosso's to warrant a Discussion Thread
  20. Guess today's season pass promotion "Bring a Friend for Free" worked...... I usually avoid the park on "Bring a Friend Free days", but I'm looking at the bright side. Any days where you get a few rides on El Toro is a great day.
  21. Not really crazy, I usually stop by the park from 10:30-12:30 on Memorial Day Sunday since I'm in the area for a friend's BBQ every year. I just don't ever recall it being this bad on a Memorial Day Sunday. Cars were still lined up past the WaWa trying to enter the park when I left.
