While no one can predict crowds, I used to get my season pass processed on a Sunday in October. In 2006 and 2007, by noon all the major coasters lines near or in excess of one hour. From what I have heard it did not get any better in 2008.

Fright Fest starts the following weekend, September crowds usually are not that bad. You should be able to ride all the coasters w/o getting a Flash Pass but expect waits. Operations were horrendous on some coaster last weekend for not apparent reason; 10-minute dispatches on Nitro with 3 trains running. WHY???????? There is a Days Inn in Freehold, but that is 15 minutes East of the park.

If the sound system works as well as Led Zeppelin the Ride then go for it. I would think the new cars are to accomodate the sound system, not OTSRs.

Clementon survives on their waterpark alone. When the park was sold, it was listed at $15 Million, with a profit of $1 Million per year. An average profit margin for a small business.

Only tourists take cabs. Actually a lot of cabbies are complaining (with sporadic protests at City Hall and slowdowns) because their pricing system is regulated and has not kept up with the price of gas increases over the past few years.

^Practically anyone who lives one mile from work should walk. This is regardless of the price of gas and the impact on the environment. Exceptions would be for people with disabilities or places/times where it is unsafe to walk.

So you still don't want to post your starting line-up in your Big Money league. Yes, Pyhton Pit with a bad ride op can get stuck on the lift hill after completion of the circuit, if you ride with friends and have a full train. But I guess you need to ride coasters with friends for that to occur, something you don't know much about.
