  1. At that time of year and following your strategy at the park: SFoG can probably be accomplished in 6-7 hours at a leisurely pace. Wild Adventures can probably be accomplished in 3 hours at a leisurely pace.
  2. JimmyBo and friends V2 rocks. JimmyBo is able to bring out the humor of all people and in any situation. He combines great ride footage with interaction at the parksn then throws in rocking music with magnificent editing. His work is that of an artiste, both captivating and entertaining. You don't have to know JimmyBo to know that he enjoys amusement parks and life.
  3. Super Rumor Thread These types of posts and inquiries should be made in this thread. thanks Thread merged into said rumor thread.
  4. If I remember correctly the money men behind both of these concepts realized that the Year 2012 was not that far in the distance and decided to invest in ventures that would make money before the end of the world. For those in Indy, I'm sure it would be great to have something closer, but 4 parks within 3 hours is not the worst situation. You could be stuck in Denver or Phoenix with their home parks and nothing great nearby.
  5. I'll watch the Wolverine flick when it becomes available on NetFlix as I'm a fan of the X-Men. No way am I wasting my money at a movie theater.
  6. That's really "Fudged" up.
  7. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom website I search of the Six Flags website would have netted you this information much quicker.
  8. I passed on the bag of peanut M&Ms today and got a Hershey's Bar with Almonds for $1 from the company vending machine.
  9. That's stupid of the company to not post the actual rides with the system on their site.
  10. Sounds like nirvana to me. FYI - I added this PTR to the TPR's Park Index
  11. ^She's selling alright
  12. I saw new Epcot pictures in this thread last night from my Blackberry and knew Matt would be doing a happy dance real soon. TPDave - in case you didn't know, the Overlord has granted Matt authority to run the Disney fiefdom.
  13. One of the best written sales brochures (from any industry) I have ever seen. Shane - Are the aerial shots postcards individual postacrds from GCI
  14. Rock on Joe, but like Elissa said blazing and blistered feet would have been nice.
  15. ^Thanks for resubmitting those photos, if you have pictures of non-coasters that are unique such as the Dark Rides (Dracula's Castle, Terroride) or the Rock o Planes. Even you you just have pictures of the Dark Ride exteriors they would be nice to add to the Index.
  16. Thanks to Divv3k and BeatleBen for their recently submitted pictures. Also, someone (sorry I misplaced your screen name before sending you a PM)submitted pics from Lagoon that exceeded the dimension limit. If they can be resubmitted at 800 x 600 that would be helpful.
  17. Sometimes I'd rather be pimpin', because moderating ain't easy.
  18. ^thanks Divv. I'm not even sure if those English/Scottish coasters have ride signs. Even knowing that signs don't exist would be helpful so I could remove them from my wish list.
  19. Go ahead and submit the Roman Rapids and Epcot stuff. If we think they are useful we will add them. Hold off on Opryland for now. If someone was to post a retro PTR we would create a page for the park, otherwise we are not going to create the park page for a single picture. Thanks
  20. The schematic is helpful to understand your concept. However, what makes you think this would be more thrilling than a typical straight drop. I'm just not following you.
  21. Eric - you posted the 2nd half your San Antonio trip just as PM'd you. You let me down on two fronts. No Journey to Altantis sign and no picture of the Alamo basement.
  22. The Dolly Trolley was nice and easy to use when I left Dollywood at closing. I'm sure HRP could have found a way to cut some fat and utilize this combination transportion and marketing solution. Theming it like a Magic Bus or Tour Bus would not have been that difficult to pull off. The wrap on the bus even could have been changed weekly to promote upcoming concerts at the park.
  23. I think all that needs to be said has been said on this topic. If Haircuts (or any other "cuts") at Six Flags come to fruition I'm sure that me and my 5,100 shares hovering at $0.20 a piece will find out and this thread can be unlocked
  24. A reminder for those interested in pictures and coverage of IAAPA during this decade. Photos exist in TPR's Park Index for 2001 and 2003 - present under the heading of IAAPA.
  25. troll - I added Wipeout, thanks printersdevil78 - I'll get those uploaded tomorrow having trouble with my home laptop, thanks Shawn - I'll await the Aussie PTRs
