As sad as it is to see the rides no longer themed to Divv, they do look much better. -
TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index
larrygator replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks, much appreciated. The missing Patriot sign is a result of the exact reason we prefer to have the pictures downloaded to the TPR server, as the previously submitted photobucket link is no longer valid -
Obvisouly, you don't read larry's posts too often. I'll just tell you in my parent's house, if I could spend my money on non essential items like goofy spoilers for a car, they'd slap me upside the head, and would have made me start paying rent. My comment was not meant to be an indictment on the kid. Hyyper asked me how he could afford a new car and it clear that the original poster could not afford to "finance" a new car on his own. I'm pretty much just restating the obvious in my own comical way. I actual respect the fact that speeddeamon rarely wastes money on things that are not essential (except the theme park hobby), that is commendable.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

1 - Many people in the General Public call these elements verticals, it was even more prevalent 10 years ago. 2 - The girl interviewed didn't seem very freaked out to me. 3 - Hanging upside down for a prolonged time can cause serious health problems, varies by person. If you have never noticed, newscasts tend to be sensationalistic because unfortunately that is the type of news to which a majority of the public reacts. -
Well they definitely generated awareness for their grilled chicken product. However, I just saw their ad apologizing for the fact the KFC can no longer accept coupons for this offer.

TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index

Keep all the photos coming in, just remember to resize them properly. When it comes to rides already in the database only the best pictures can be added, but we still need any photos for plenty of non-coasters. In addition to 15 new parks, over 1,000 rides and 3,000 photos have been added to the Park Index in the past 6 weeks. -
Well I'm cheap & don't spend my money on random crap like video games & DVDs. I just have to pay $200 a month for car insurance. I get two paychecks a month both over $200 so I use the first check for my car & the second one for whatever. Translation: I didn't pay for the car, I don't pay rent and I eat the free food that gets placed in the refrigerator and cabinets.

$2400 a year? You're getting screwed, or you're a terrible driver with really bad grades. Matt - you never had to pay car insurance in New Jersey. It's not cheap.

Shaun Sanbrooke bless his little soul!
larrygator replied to Miss Redd's topic in Random, Random, Random
OK, I'm going to try an translate the original post. Went to Alton Towers, but Saturdays are crowded. Free tickets in the newspaper may have contributed to long lines. We rode Duel behind Shuan Sanbrook and his girlfriend. I love Shaun's addiction to Alton Towers and look forward to his videos of Secret Weapon. He may even give me a shout out in his next video. I'm a cougar and love Shaun Sanbrook. -

What are the best hotels or good hotels in the KI area?
larrygator replied to Chris Benvenuto's topic in Ask Alvey
^^I don't know how you define "good" and "reasonably priced". I've had no trouble using Hotwire.com and selecting only hotels that are 2 1/2 stars or above as a starting point whenever I travel in the US and need a place near an amusement park. -
Daniel is not dead. I think Kate and Jack are reading his journal (which was on his person) when he got shot. I don't see how they would get the journal off of Daniel's dead body, I'm sure the others would keep it.

Jeremy/Matt - I really heap praise on videos but this is great stuff.

For the record - They made an official closing announcement and cleared the park out at around 7PM and don't think that were handing out vouchers prior to official word the the park was closing. All the ride operations were already suspended when I arrived at 5PM. I'm not sure what time they started closing down rides. I think what is clear, when comparing to what happened at SFGAdv on the 2nd weekend of the season, is the individual parks have autonomy in handing out passes and bypassing the chain's no rain check policy.

Robb & Elissa's Transatlantic Cruise!

That is not a credit! Elissa wasted her time but at least she amused us.
