Soooo.... Erik & Smisty's Las Vegas Oddventures coming soon? Certainly looking forward to Las Vegas. And a few years down the road, I'm looking forward to Erik and Smisty's move to Wisconsin Dells. -

And this is EXACTLY why it's a game changer. A park that most of our members have never heard of, hell, we didn't even have an entry in the Park Index for it when this was announced, to drop a ride of this caliber into and all of a sudden we are planning an international trip around... that's HUGE!!! Tell me how often that happens? When was the last time a park, that's been around for as long as the 60s, that you've never heard of, all of a sudden stands out as a MUST VISIT location, with a ride that could be #1 in the world? So true about this being a rare occurence. The only fair comparison I can think of Holiday Park building Expedition GeForce for the park's 30th year. I know it was before the internet was fully established, but I think Holiday Park was unknown park to most at the time. -

While I don't doubt what you say, I wouldn't expect the airtime to be more in physical intensity than what already exists. According to the ASTM Acceleration charts, the maximum allowed amount of airtime is -1.5 G's after 0.5 seconds. (though it can go as intense as -2 G's after 0.2 seconds, such a quick transition to those forces would probably cause an extremely uncomfortable jerk.) I remember seeing that S&S's El Locos generally pull -1.5 G's on their main drops, and I suspect that El Toro, Skyrush, etc. probably pull in the -1.2 to -1.5 range for the majority of the ride. So, basically what I'm saying is that assuming what you are saying is the truth, I'd be expecting a mix of El Toro and Outlaw Run, which is totally fine by me. Hey Mattias and Johan, I'm curious to see if my predictions are correct. Might you be able to possibly procure those numbers for us? DORK! -

I loved your prayer request. I didn't look at the picture to closely and thought your Chick-Fil-A comment was a joke. -
Chuck's Shameless Nostalgia TR: TPR's 2006 UK Trip

My lasting memories of that day. Some kid spitting from the sky ride on Casey and Casey following the sky ride and pointing this yobbish behaviour to the ride ops. Having my Ghost Train car stop in complete darkness and then having Southern Steve's car crash into mine was awesome and scared the crap the crap out of him. -

Thank you for linking to your photos and giving us your opinion. If your photos were downloaded to ThemeParkReview, we could put this on the front page and include your photos in the Park Index. -
Chuck - we had so many awesome encounters with the Chinese walk-throughs, I can't even remember them all. Between the old ladies begging us to pay for their attraction and then scaring the crap out of us (Sun Park), the random brushes (Chuanlord), and I don't know if you remember when it was so dark in one of them that I almost climbed into what I thought was the path but it was a hole in the wall was a Yeti inside (Happy Valley). As far as awkward. on the TPR Mexico trip last year at one of the park's haunted houses I was with Jim Blietz and the other two people in our walk through group were a Mexican couple in their late teens/early 20's. The girl kept grabbing me instead of her terrified boyfriend. She spoke no English, except thank you, and keep pushing me ahead into the next room. Outside of amusement parks, I remember my sophomore year in college my flag football team was playing to get into the quarterfinals of the playoffs and right before halftime a member of the other team missed my flag and got a hold of my pocket and proceeded to rip my shorts off and I'm standing there on the field in my tighty whities (I can not wear boxers when playing sports). I wasn't allowed to play the rest of the game (some stupid rule after needing to wear shorts) but at least I had my girlfriend's sweatshirt to wrap around my waist for the one mile walk back home after the game.

I'm still waiting for the day that someone flip flops back and forth on a regular basis as the swing vote and lasts until the end and wins. It will happen someday. What's really funny is if J'tai was still playing she probably would have blown it by naming the "other one". I know she was fed up with Sarah but stick together a few more rounds and then get her out. Like Spencer said, welcome to 6th place Kass. Although LJ thinks he secured his place with Tony by covering his back he didn't. LJ thinks Tony will be loyal but Tony will still turn on him before turning on Woo since LJ is playing the game and has the connection with Trish. Tony is around looking ahead and realizing none of these other players will get votes for outplaying him at this point except possibly LJ or Kass. But Kass will only burn more britches with her persona moving forward.

^Completely agree about the funkyness of their food, so I have never bothered to stop at Primanti Brothers. Last time through the town I went to a place called Big Jim's for a huge veal cutlet parm hero. Even with a GPS the place was difficult to find at night.
