Fuji-Q Highlands Discussion Thread
Thrillrider15 replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow. With Eejanaika, it should make Fuji Q a greater park (as it already is). Great photos Chris. I just noticed that some of your Eejanaika photos are on www.rcdb.com. I hope people love this coaster (as they should do for any coaster.....Most coasters anyways). -
Best (and worst) "Sounds" on a coaster
Thrillrider15 replied to Jon Sabo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I know this might not be a coaster, but I like the sounds of a "New Generation Top Spin". It's that sound of when the ride allows the car to spin freely. That dry air gushing out. It's awsome. -
TPR breaks another Intamin Rocket?
Thrillrider15 replied to WillMontu's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is strange (in a way). Call it the "Intamin Curse" if you will, but this seems to have been happening with some of the Intamin launch coasters. I also wonder if this is the same incident that had happened to Kingda Ka. But of course, the answer is, we don't know. But ya. At least their weren't any injuries (I think). -
Six Flags new commercial!
Thrillrider15 replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I have no idea on that answer, but this sounds kind of like an odd commercial. I Mr. Six is awsome. My friends talk about how great Mr. Six is. So.... ya. Respect the elders. And that means no stabbing elders in the heart. I think they should have kept Mr. Six all this time. It's a bummer that he left. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

3rd row seats on any coasters

O.K. the last day of school event for us (and for many other schools), was a trip to Valleyfair! I am here with a photo trip review for everybody (some of the photos I got from the video I took at the park (and maybe not the highest quality either). More photos coming soon! But here they are: Xtreme Swing goes pretty high. Weightlessness! I just noticed that weightlessness is fourteen letters! Yay! The Xtreme Swing! It's fast! Go S&S! Yay! The Wild Thing! It's fast. Go Morgan! This is Valleyfair's! S&S drop tower. It stands at 275 feet high, and has a 250 foot drop. I have never seen so many people at Valleyfair! before! Never. It might not look like much of a crowd, but if you saw the ticket booth, it was about a fifteen to twenty minute wait in line. I'm not sure if it's me or not, but that's a long time to wait fo Steel Venom looks kind of big when you're looking at it from the parking lot. There was talk on the bus that the Wild Thing was going to fly off the tracks again. lol. It's kind of weird how people that don't know much about amusement parks think. The moment you have all been waiting for. Valleyfair! It got kind of loud in the bus when everybody saw Valleyfair! though. I got a little frustrated when my name wasn't called. But my smart friend Mike got called down (he's suprisingly taking calculus next year, and he's only going into 9th grade! shocking). It was time for the 8th grade award ceramony. It got pretty boring. This is the last time I ever saw that classroom. That's the bus driver we had (sorry if that picture got a little blurry. I had to zoom in from the back seat). He was making sure we weren't throwing paper.

Can you change mine to "Everybody likes an S&S!" Thank you.

I put the japanese into a translater, and it came out with this: 2006 June 1st? In earth day holiday June 25th opening (* 1 time approximately 30 minutes). That was the text under the bunny. It says more after that: Recreational area day holiday 1 9:00 recreational area central open space 2 10:15 recreational area central open space 5 15:30 recreational area central open space 6 17:30 recreational area central open spaces Recreational area Saturday 1 9:30 recreational area central open space 2 10:45 recreational area central open space 5 15:00 recreational area central open space 6 16:30 recreational area central open spaces Is, it is village day holiday 3 12:00 where is it is village entrance gate 4 13:00 where is the village entrance gate which is Is, village Saturday is it is 3 12:15 it is village entrance gate 4 13:30 where is the village entrance gate which is (* Depending upon the circumstance of the day there are times when it becomes modification or the discontinuance as for the place and time etc. without notice. best AIRTIME!!!!11!!!
Thrillrider15 replied to colossus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This one has to go with Wild Thing's second drop. If you sit in the back (or anywhere ranging from the middle to back), the crest you get floater airtime, and then all of a sudden gets violent again. -
Too I have seen people sneak cameras on rides. For example: The Excalibur at Valleyfair!, I was in the back seat, and I saw this guy farthur up the train turn back with a camera, and take a quick picture of someone behind him. I'm going to Valleyfair! soon, and I want to try to ask if I can take an onride P.O.V. of the rides. If they say no, I'm O.K., because I will understand.

Valleyfair (VF) Discussion Thread

So what are we guessing that this could be. My guess would be that B&M Valleyfair! has always wanted to get. Because from talk around, they say that the roller coaster would be inverted (or floorless), and would be around the water park. Of course, this is just what is flying around. -

It was released today at www.screamscape.com that there have been spotted by a park guest, some markings in the ground. You can read more about it here (scroll all the way down the page): http://www.screamscape.com/html/valleyfair.htm Does anybody have any clues on what this could be (If it is an attraction)? -

Valleyfair (VF) Discussion Thread

I just heard about The Wild Thing testing a few hours ago. The sad part is, is that my friends told me about it (and they're not amusement park fans ), before I heard about it. But I guess the newspaper gives the information first, instead of the internet (so I'm not that frustrated that they found out before me). And also, it would have also helped if I hadn't been outside all of the last couple of days. But oh well. Anyways, this is good to hear that The Wild Thing is testing again. I'm guessing that it will be operating again when I visit Valleyfair! in eight days. -

Well I'm going to Valleyfair! on June 9th. And that date is in the line between whether it'll be open or not. If it isn't, I'll try to get some photography of it.
