Once again, Cedar Point commercial = CHEESE!! (well, at least this one's better than the other ones) The Sesame Place commercial was okay, albeit using the banana boat song just seemed a little weird to me.

Actually, this is about the only thing Vekoma can do right.

^LOL! Some of these really old commercials are so cheesy they make me cringe. Even some of the Cedar Point commercials came with a slice of cheese. Ugh!

Cedar Fair should do the same thing they did to their other Dinn coaster, Hercules, at Dorney... RAZE IT TO THE GROUND! A wooden roller coaster should be somewhat rough, only enough to make the ride seem wild, BUT NOT rough enough to cause a persistent headache, as was my experience with Mean Streak. Even with the roughness, it would have been somewhat fun if it actually had some force to it. Instead, it had less force than some kiddy coasters I've been on and therefore fails in all respects as a coaster. The only redeeming qualities I can think of for Mean Streak is that it's nice to look at and would make good firewood.

This is terrible Once again another historic ride has been claimed by fire. Why does it always seem like this is the most common way that old, well taken care of rides get destroyed? Oh well.. there is still a slim chance they can fix it up.

Wow... I am shocked I have a feeling that even if the tried to go through with it they would fail simply because the teacher is an adult. It would be quite a task for 3rd graders to restrain him/her simply because of strength and size differences. And if the teacher sees students coming towards him/her with knives and handcuffs, do you think he/she is going to stick around long enough for them to handcuff him/her and carry out the deed?

I know someone who said that they don't build roller coasters like Kennywood's Jackrabbit anymore because they could fly off the track. Then I told him about upstop wheels.

I wouldn't mind visiting Dollywood someday if I get the chance. It seems like a nice park with some interesting coasters. By the way, that was good TR, thanks for sharing.

It's sixty-something degrees, overcast (it's almost always overcast here in Pittsburgh), and wet from last night's rain. Not very interesting, huh?
