That I've ridden, I'd rank them as such: 1.Batman clones (I've been on four) 2.Flight Deck 3.Afterburn 4.Talon 5.Great Bear 6.Alpengheist 7.Raptor 8.Silver Bullet. I ranked these purely on intensity and not necessarily the layout. This list is based on which coaster will give you the most out of the ride. If I were to rank the same coasters on layout (which I think is the notable thing to do, because some of these rides have fun layouts, but aren't intense) 1.Silver Bullet(Very unique) 2.Great Bear(also very unique) 3.Afterburn(Immelman and batwing=awesomeness) 4.Alpengheist(Littel rough on the cobra roll, but otherwise fine) 5.Talon(the twist after the loop is intense, but no-bueno trimmed) 6.Flight Deck(Fantastic pacing, but so much more could've been done;too short) 7.Batman Clones(this design may have but B&M on the map, but too short and two vertical loops?; too repeatative) 8.Raptor(Prime example that the concept of the Invert works best on a smaller scale; harder to keep the pacing when that large) Mr. 2100th

^I love technical terms. I returned to work New Years Day and joked around with my boss about wanting a raise for having perfect attendance all year.

I think Burger King has Knott's tickets for relatively cheap. (35 bucks I think), other than that there is the after 4 p.m. promotion, if you want to go that late. Other than that I can't think of anything else than maybe a so. cal. discount, if they still do that.

In all fairness regarding the Windseeker placement argument. I don't know when Revolucion went in, but aside from that, most of the parks last attractions either went in Ghost Town or Boardwalk, so it's nice to see another area get something to liven up the area.

It;s the same thing with rain, so long as the ride has been cycling before the harsh temperature, it would run just fine in colder than ususal temp.

Has anyone else noticed how GhostRider is halted to a complete stop in the MCBR now? Very odd such a dramatic change would be made 13 years into operation

^I remember hearing it was Over Texas, which seemed more fitting. Corporate would be more inclined to spend B&M money on Over Texas than America....

^Agreed, but I think Tatsu was painted the same way. There are bits and pieces of Tatsu that look as bad as Scream does.

^Very true indeed. Take away Xcelerator and Silver Bullet from Knotts and all of a sudden whatever recognition they have suddenly dissipates....

^Yea, even if you missed CGA, the only notable ride missed would be Flight Deck, and Knott's has an invert. Albeit Silver Bullet sucks compared to Flight Deck, you'd still get to ride one if you skipped it.

^No. I think the talk of the 'Season Pass Office' may have confused you. It's just where you process the pass. Also, for those of us who renew onloine, you get a coupon to pick up your book. Why they just can't mail it with the pass is beyond me.
