i was looking foward to seeing a 4-5 hour line for kingda ka to suck the people away from El Toro when it opens. thats not happening now. ugh.

i agree with you on Gwazi. it blew me away too. really fun and really intense. the whole thing felt out of control which is great in my book. Unfortunatley I didnt get any airtime... but its all good. Nice pics too! thnx.

i thought TTD was fun. wasnt the greatest ride but the overall experience was exhilerating. the countdown to launch, the fear of it breaking down, made for a pretty memorable experience. You gotta love the lapbars though. Thats the best part - a 400 ft vertical decent with lapbars. we may not see anything like that anymore and if we do, well have shoulder restraints.

omg this thing blazes thru that track. you can get a sense of speed in all the videos. she looks intense, as a great coaster should be. cant wait to ride! very niiiiiiice...

omg, go to the coaster clip section on that page and look at the clip of " Cool and Fresh". now that just looks wrong on all levels.

some people were let down by Millenium Force? i know its not the greastest but it was sure a blast. dont go thinking im a CP fanboy, im not but you can't tell me it wasnt awesome in some way. Ill take SROS at SFNE over it anyday. My dissapointment was Mantis. First standup, big letdown. painful on my legs, maybe it was because i drove 9 hours to go ride it. who knows, but it didnt give me that good coaster feeling.

the second drop onto the river on Big Bad Wolf in the back row is the most insane drop moment for me so far. The swinging, speed and slight airtime make for a visual and forceful mess. love it!

i know batman is a heavy ride but i gotta say Kumba. This coaster aged nicely. i rode it back in June last year for the first time since i think 98? and it was still if not more powerful at everypoint on the ride.

anybody know what change they made to the layout during the construction? people speculated an overbank and blah blah blah.... but what was the actual change?

you dont know how well El Toro rides untill you ride it. how do you know the designers didnt improve or tweak certain things that would make it differ from collosus? the GP is gonna love it, the drop will freak alot of people out and add some awesome anticipation while your inline for it. kinda like Shiekra! it may also deceive alot people with its smoothness. why can't some people just be excited for new coasters without the " i dont think its gonna be great" routine? its sad.

i have not been to PKD yet, but ive been to BGE a bunch and its fantastic. Its quality and beautiful. Its got some good rides, how can ya pass up Alpengiest and Apollos chariot? or the Big BadWolf - its a classic! the ride selection seems like a better choice to me.

AFI is great. From songs like Brownie Bottom Sundae up to the Sing the Sorrow album, they pull it all off well. Sing the Sorrow was fantastic! great song writers.

one thing about Morgan hyper coasters that stand out are their helix elements. I remember Steel Forces' helix being a blast for what it was and Steel Dragon's look to be mighty fine as well. Anybody who took a ride on SD like the helix?
