  1. Belgium just went up a few notches in my book. That's pretty awesome.
  2. Wow this thread is crazy. It's already had like 2600 views! So is anyone else out there losing weight too? I gained a few over the holidays, but I'm back on track and hope to have another 10 or so off by the end of February. I watched the national body challenge this morning (from last night on Tivo) and it's always interesting to watch other people's stories. There was a cool idea for BBQ pork, you get lean pork tendorlone and use apple juice and marinade it for about an hour. It looked really good and it was a lot less calories and fat than a normal BBQ sandwich. Anyway...I'll check in next time I have an update. I'm hoping to hit the 60lbs mark (weight loss) by the end of February.
  3. *ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80's Hair!!!!!* *looks at his 1990 graduation picture* Oh nevermind. LOL Nice Retro PTR. I wish I had visited back then, my first visit wasn't until 1999. Mullet alert!
  4. My vote has been cast! Red staters rejoice! Oh wait...wrong vote. Don't worry though, I voted #1 for all the boomerangs.
  5. You need to have one featuring Elissa giving birth and her finding out the baby looks like ACEr Joe. lol
  6. Honey I think I just lost my glass eye!
  7. Hope you have a good day man.

  10. But I thought that the trains on SOB were heavier than PTC trains? Maybe not, but seems like that's what I imagined I heard. lol I don't see why PTC's couldn't run on the track, the track seemed pretty standard track to me when I rode it those several, pain-filled times. I'm curious what they do.
  11. I'm really hoping they just scrap them altogether and put in PTCs.
  12. Doesn't Yeti Ball deliver some of them? I got my DVDs the old fashion way though. I want magical deliveries.
  13. I wish my hoodie would transport me somewhere. And what shipping company leaves stuff on your door without being in a box?
  14. The one at Carowinds had the walk through section and all and it looked just like it. I'm sure PKI maybe had one too, they might have bought theirs. Boo for CF canceling Winterfest and yet Knott's gets Christmas.
  15. Do you happen to know if they had this tree last year? It looks an awful lot like the one that was at Carowinds last year and since Winterfest was canceled it would make sense if they sold it to them.
  16. Woohoo! Charlotte is supposed to get an Ikea sometime soon!
  17. What is that body of water way out there? Sea of Japan? I don't know why I'm curious, it's just kinda weird to see all that water out there. Love the empty park PTR though. Reminds me of Pedroland, except you got to ride working rides!!!
  18. ^ Ryan were you in one of the shots in line for Tatsu? I don't think it was you, but it kind of looked like you. The show was good overall, except for them trying to overdramatize everything...oh no! The coaster will be down for an entire season! Oh noz!!!!11!!!
  19. I had a good year.. Carowinds (home park) SFOG (twice) Goliath...yummy! Holiday World SFStl Beech Bend Dollywood Camden Park SC State Fair Myrtle Beach Pavilion Family Kingdom If you want to check out my pics go to: www.southernscream.com Next year I'm planning Ghost Town in the Sky BGE Dollywood Carowinds Cedar Point Geagua Lake Kennywood A few of the small PA parks
  20. Yeah, another 20 or so and you should be able to fit on Raptor again. I was about 300 at my top weight and they crammed me on Top Gun, but I fit (barely). Also depends on how tall you are.
  21. I still probably have another 20lbs before I can fit into the Intamin's comfortably again. Maybe I could fit right now, but it would be a tight fit. But I hope to have the rest of my weight off by June for Coastermania.
  22. ^ I'll tell you the truth, it won't be easy the first few months...but it's well worth the effort. I look and feel so much better. I've been kinda sickly this week with some type of bug and I miss my workouts. I've walked a couple times but with being sick and all I can't get that intense workout I like. Hopefully I'll get over this mess soon.
  23. Here's the second batch...enjoy! Some interesting facts about the house: Opened in 1895. They had to build their own railroad to the property to get supplies in. One of the first homes to have elecricity and running water (toilets too!) The main Christmas tree inside is around 50ft tall and the original tree in 1895 had electric lights! The house has its own pipe organ. House has 3 working elevators (lifts, for our UK friends) (from 1895). The company was a brand- new company called Otis! See! You thought I was joking didn't you! Ooh! Dark Castle! Get it? Dark...oh nevermind. That's about it for this update. Hope you enjoyed the pics. I might compile some of my video footage eventually. This used to be the estate's stables, now it's shops and a restaurant. You actually can eat in one of the old stalls where the horses slept. LOL We'reeeeeeeeeee off to see the wizard!! The tour was cool and they have opened up the 4th floor some now. Time to check out the shopping. Sir...Sir! You can't take that camera inside! Just kidding, but this is the last pic I could take for a while. Finally! It's time to go in! V for Vendetta! Oh wait, I mean Vanderbuilt! (the guy that built the place) A lot of these faces are kinda creepy. That's a pretty tall building, thingy, uh there. Please sir. May I have a little more? For some reason this little guy on top reminds me of Oliver. Not too shaby for a back yard. Do you think those cars were there in 1895 when it opened? hmmm... Time for our tour of the house...oooh! Biltmore through the trees! This was (part) of the line for the Winery tour. We skipped it since we had been through before. They closed the dairy years ago and converted it into a winery. And they say the South is slow. Oooooh! Winery through the trees! They also had authentic looking cars that just pop out of the ground. For some reason they had a pack of dogs running around the grounds and looking cute.
  24. ^ I'm glad PTC came out with the foot release on the new trains now. Hopefully that should speed things up a lot. I have never liked that release on the old style trains.
  25. ^ They must have moved down to SFOG. They dispatch Superman at about that speed...oh wait, that's TOO fast for them. We were down there in August and that was the only coaster with a long line. Even Goliath had a short line.
