  1. This looks like such a lovely park during the holiday season... Too bad the Scandinavian TPR Tour in '09 won't happen around this time period. Or....will it? Thanks for sharing your recent visit there. It looks wonderful as always, day or night, with or without the holiday decorations.
  2. ^ As ancient and venerable saying goes: "Till the autopsy... there's no proof."
  3. Love the hat. (Edit: Actually, it looks like Parque Espana's Don Quioxte has had one too many chemical cocktails, hee hee hee.)
  4. "Sleigh Ride" Diana Krall Christmas Songs cd featuring the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra!
  5. I don't think they had any "combos" of flavors in the popcorns at the parks. Single-flavored only. At least from what I saw, and most of them seemed to be over at TDS. By the way, I had the cappuchino flavor at TDS. It was ok. Kept me awake, hah hah. IMhO, most of the popcorns didn't really overkill on any of the flavors offered. Which made it a bit easier to enjoy ones like black pepper and curry, lol.
  6. ^^ I am, thanks Brian. The pass doesn't really cost a lot; just over $50 Canadian, so it's not a huge investment. And yes, I grow my beard thicker over the usual c-c-c-colder months here. Until the spring...
  7. I get a kick out of it, that (usually) every year, my home coaster makes a list of some kind. I guess that's what makes getting a season's pass worth while, here. And from this list, only three ridden: #5 Balder #20 Coaster (yay homie!) #25 Megafobia
  8. Woo hoo. My "reminder card" snail-mailed it's way to my home, today. If only the Park lived up to the season pass' cost. Then again, maybe it DOES live up to the cost of the pass. Eep. But - I'll get it anyway, and for as cheap a price as I can get, LOL! I guess they decided to use some of that personal information you give them, when you pick your pass up. At least the deal is good till 01/11/08. (grin)
  9. omg I just worked it out, that my #250 coaster was Eejanaika at Fuji-Q...
  10. I loved the Japanese people's reaction to the tower ride itself. Considering this was their first (for the most of them I figured, riding this one) experience in a ToT, I thought they were having a blast and enjoying the fun of being "scared" by Disney, lol. It was great fun ride, every time I was on it.
  11. In that last pic - the one you're probably going to use for the card? - Kristen looks like she can't hold it, and she's ready to crack up! And ditto on the "growth rate" comments from others here. Wow, that kid is growing fast! Can't wait to see mommy and daddy chasing the little one all around the parks, eventually LOL.
  12. No. Unfortunately, the spinning coaster was down the day the tour hit the park. Ah well, another time, another credit to get, lol. The one at LaQua spun pretty nicely. Not crazy-spin. But not locked.
  13. PLEASE Dave! I am begging you! Visit us at Playland, here in Vancouver! As soon as you can!
  14. I really REALLY didn't realize how OMG high that thing was. Until you posted that. My, my. Wow. I guess I've done pretty good with my fear of heights. And I rode that thing twice!
  15. Happy Turkey Day USA!
  16. GO! GOTH! GO! I'm actually starting to like this couple, heh heh. Who knows? They could win it, hmm?
  17. It also reads like the "Thrill Park" isn't going to be built (if it is built) until ... 2012 or so??? That is a long time before any thrill rides like coasters show up, hmmm? But that's okay. The rest of you are young.
  18. Bouncy Bouncy sounds (and looks) like it can survive - anything! (Edit: Spyland does sound interesting - when it finally ends up being built.)
  19. This was very cool to see. I enjoyed your TR on how the day went for you and The TPR Car in the races, lol. And Dippin Dots! omg Funnel Cake! yum Car looked great. Thanks for sharing this day in your big trip.
  20. ^ Oh well. The parks still look great!
  21. Darts! That is so cool. And this was at the park? Man, this puts it right up there with Mitsui Greenland (is that the right park, Japan TPR tourers?) who had bows and arrows for the guests enjoyment. I didn't get to do it, but it looked great. I can't wait to travel to these parks in the not-too-distant future! Thanks for sharing your trip report. It's great!
  22. "What You Want" from the broadway musical CD Legally Blonde: The Musical
  23. And burnt counter tops...
