  1. January 31st. First hour is mostly review. Second hour is new.
  2. More Lou, more!
  3. They probably wouldn't.
  4. And succeded at it, lol. (Good for them, BTW. I'm not sure I would have gotten that done, even for a million dollah, heh heh.) Then The Goths would have had to backtrack, etc. etc. Hope they can work through their "stuff," and surge ahead. Somehow.
  5. Yes, I heard that too, about no non-elimination rounds. Guess you can't always believe - until it happens, huh? Still, considering The Goths will be starting out in last place AND getting this Speed Bump thing thrown at them "somewhere, some time during the race"... But you never know, hmmm? Could happen, making it up from last place, to the front or near-front of the pack, heh heh. It has happened before, I seem to remember. I hope they succeed, and stick around a bit longer, if only to make it to the final three couples.
  6. Here's our contribution to The Season. And Best Wishes to all for now, and the coming New Year. Bill - Nrthwnd I always say, there's nothing like tinsel to cover up mistakes and *^%# on a tree, lol. Merry Ho Ho!
  7. I think the flavored popcorns at TDS became as much an "attraction" there, as did the landscaping and architecture of each port-of-call, lol. So many to choose from... I remember the soda flavor in TDS. But not strawberry, so maybe that was at TDL, Adam. I do remember seeing and eating more flavors at TDS than I do at TDL. Does that mean they were selling more flavors there at TDS? Hmmm.
  8. This is too good a 'Holiday Treat' to let off the front page, for now. BUMP. And a Happy Holiday Season to All!
  9. Tonight's the night! G - G - G!
  10. Excellent! Just when I thought I was laughing enough - the next one made me laugh even more! Very well done. Great. It should become a TPR Classic any time soon, lol.
  11. ^ Same for me, with the cappucino (sp?) popcorn. It really wasn't "coffee strong" like I thought it would/might be. Which was great!
  12. Looks like everybody had a great time, at the parks and at the party. And I hope everybody has a great holiday season. Merry Solstice!
  13. Sad to read about it. Warm thoughts to his family and friends.
  14. I can't believe I might be riding this coaster next summer!
  15. #102 - TPR trips get me out of the house, at least once a year now. Depending on the count, this should be the right # - but who's counting now, eh? (Edit: Maybe the title should be changed to 100+ Reasons...?)
  16. ^ That's great! And I look forward to seeing what it goes around, lol.
  17. "stupid Vancouver"? then but really
  18. I fulfilled a theme park dream, when I finally got to ride the Zambezi Zinger on a 1995 visit to the park, with friends I was staying with. And we rode the Orient Express too, but my sights were set on the ZZ, lol. It was amazing, especially the butt kicking tunnel (and speed!) at the end of the layout. Thanks for posting all of this great stuff on this, and the other parks and coasters/attractions, Shane. It's an awesome assortment of paperwork and photos. And exactly how BIG is your "attic" anyway??? Looking forward to more and more and more and... (Edit: I forgot to mention... After we had been to WoF that early June, the accident with a girl/guy {I forget, sry} being thrown out of the Express, happened just a week or so after we'd been there! Very wierd to find out about it, after having just ridden the coaster.)
  19. Decorating house and up with the fake tree, today. Not exactly into it, but when it's done, I feel better.
  20. Wow. That's neat (of sorts) your not having been on my home coaster up here. And it's one of two, huh? I look forward to the day - or that TPR Tour, heh heh - when I can hopefully join you and others, when you get your first ride on our dear old woodie - about to be 50 Years Old next year, too!
  21. ^ Thankyou so much for this! I'm just going to use it for the season, but this is great! Thanks again.
  22. Solstice Shrub! We have gotten ourselves over very-first FAKE tree for this (and eventually future) season. I am still not too sure or feeling 'okay' about it yet, and I'm curious who of you already has these kinds of trees and who still goes out to either buy a fresh cut tree, or cut one themself in one of those tree growing farms? And opinions of each, of course. By the way - when we get this thing up and decorated, I'll snap pix and post ASAP, Merry Mary! (EDIT: Oops. Didn't know I was bumping this up from 2005! But the question still stands. Real or fake? Which one you like and use? And why? Also, the year in the topic title could be changed too, but I can't do that. It wasn't my thread to start. )
  23. My David convinced me, that in order to "green" our holiday season... So should The Tree In Question. He went out and bought a fake 6 footer, that still needs a stand of some kind/type. And I peered into the box to take a look-see... Not exactly authentic-like, but we'll see when I start getting everything out for decorating the house, tomorrow. Still - I already miss a nice fresh-cut 'tree smell' to enjoy this season.
  24. It would be nice to get santa caps on Wallce & Grommit here. But I am not able to pull it off with my current non-pc skills. So... Any help here? Thanks in advance. (And lights around the Blackpool Tower there in back, might look cool, too.)
  25. At least the blondes admitted it to themself, out loud, that they were not working well together as the race progressed. Ah well. And so it goes... Go Goths Go!!!
