06-29-14 ~ Heading Home I didn't take a lot of photos on the day everybody left for home. But there's a few familiar faces in a couple of shots. And - More To Come! And this was my very first Bobkart, back in 2008. I loved it! The concept art of the load station, looks great. Hope they can stick with most of this design, and not change it too much.

Amsterdam - Walibi Holland (x2 credits) Paris - DisneyParis Studios (x1 credit) There are other 2 parks close to/in these cities, I have visited before, and to my knowledge, neither Drievlet nor Parc D'Acclamation have any new credits. And Parc Saint Paul outside Paris, needs a car to get to, of which I can't afford during this Fall trip. Edit to add: Forgot to add Durinrell in my 'been there, done that' list.

Linnanmaki Park - End of the visit )o: After a really full day at Linnanmaki, it was eventually time to all gather and have our last meal together on the tour. It was another wonderful buffet, this one at Caruzello, the park's main eatery. And after the meal, there was still a bit of time to get out into the park and hit a few more rides. For myself, it was another trip on the dark ride, and by the time we had queued up and ridden it, it was time to head back to the hotel. Here's the last photos I took, of Linnanmaki... Outdoor seating, outside of Caruzello Restaurant. I am guessing drink glasses "fell off" of the balcony here, which is why there is netting? Not sure, I never asked about it. But it's a good park view. The Rainbow Enterprise in full spin. Hello Audrey! I miss you. Back on the balcony deck. JC and A.J. share a swing. Everybody sat everywhere, including the kids' chairs, lol. Cary got booze! One of my plates of food. All excellent! I see you A.J.! The line to the bar was naturally, a bit long. Another plate of food. Back to the dark ride. I had seen this 'hat' before in the queue, so I took another photo of it, beside the pentagram. And when I got back home, lightened the exposure a bit, turned it 1/4 and... Voila! Now doesn't this look like some sort of "sorting hat" from a "well known franchise?" On the way out of the park, I took this shot. I liked it. And on the bus back to the hotel, I saw these in the sky. Thank you Linnanmaki Park for a great, awesome visit.

^ That's true. You can (nowadays) hop from fave park to park, with the hotel attached to it, lol. This one looks really nice, by the way.

^ We're seeing Flashdance on Nov.12th in Vancouver! And for the first time I can ever remember, I am totally unknown to this stage version of the film! I knew the musical existed, in a couple of productions. But nothing ever got to Broadway that I remember, so it's been an interesting journey for this musical, yes? This is a Great Musical First for me. I am very much looking forward to it. And I do hope it's a great production, too! Looking forward to the water, LOL!

Great tour of Tivoli, Kevin! I just love this park. And it's not just the rides. It's the landscaping, the restaurants (Steak House & Wagamamas), the shops... really a great in-city park.

I'll be 74 when this is all finished up. Oh well, better later than never-er. Had posted this pic before, but this is what's replacing Crazy Beach Party next year.

Helix, I like better than Blue Fire. But I really enjoyd Blue Fire, from the launch to the end of it. I think that first, the exit out of Helix' station is pretty cool. Then they have two "speed launchers" I will call them, as they don't increase speed as much as maintain it. I enjoyed that, too. And weaving in and out of trees, over the other coaster and the hill, just made Helix more fun for me.

^ Damn, it'll be two years before it gets to our city, I'm guessing. Book of Mormon is finally coming our way next year, in April!
